The views!

The tour was great to see the highlights of Montreal if you are short on time. Good tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks!
Great overview and tour of the city!

We enjoyed the lookout at Mount Royal Park and Old Montreal. We went Monday morning 4/29/24 and our tour guide was awesome!
You can do much better...

This was honestly one of the worst tours I've taken in a while and definitely wouldn't recommend if you're visiting Montreal with limited time. First off, we were delayed and sitting in the bus for 30 minutes to "warm up the engine." Granted, it was snowing that day, but also given that they knew we were coming, this felt like something that could've been handled earlier. While we were waiting, the bus driver decided to come over and talk to everyone. That would have been fine if he had just asked us normal questions, but my group is a group of 5 Asian guys and when we proceeded to tell him that we came from California, he pestered us with "No, but where are you really from?" After which we responded that our parents immigrated from other countries, he tried to say the most simplistic words in those languages, didn't pronounce them correctly, and then told us that we were the ones who didn't understand the language. Okay... Finally, on the road after 30 minutes and the tour was, just passable. The actual tour guide was fine. Nothing exceptional and his jokes weren't great. When it's a "tough crowd" from a 75% capacity bus at least 5-6 times throughout the tour, then maybe there's something missing. The tour itself was fine. We passed by a few attractions but most of it was merely a pass by on bus. The worst part of the tour was our bus getting stuck in traffic, having the tour guide hand the mic over to the driver, and having him rant for 20 minutes about how to not use the card readers in restaurants to tip because it adds 15% on top of tax instead of asking the server to add it manually. It was a lot. The final stop on the tour was supposed to be a view of Montreal from Mount Royal, but in all honesty, it was really underwhelming. It was a viewpoint from the east side, so although you got to see the Olympic Stadium, there was no view of downtown at all. There is a much better viewpoint that's a free hike with a skyline view. The final straw for us, however, was that as we were exiting the bus for this viewpoint, the bus driver looked at one of our friends and muttered a random Japanese brand to him. There was no conversation, no indication...just if to make it even more apparent that we were different because at no point did he say anything else to the non-ethnic people on the bus. It was like something straight out of a Scary Movie and just so unnecessary. Besides the bus not completely breaking down, this tour was honestly just a waste of time. We waited, felt called out, sat in traffic, and got a few minute glimpses of some attractions. Honestly, take the money and get a rideshare to these attractions instead...
Thumbs Up!

I absolutely loved riding around the different provinces of Montreal. The old, new, upcoming and historic sites broaden my view of Montreal. The Commentator was interesting and funny. I loved he interacted with the bus driver. What a comical pair! I am pleased with the service that was provided.

Go elsewhere
JOEL_K, Apr 2024
Crowded bus with questionable site selection. We should have booked a private tour. Too many groundhog sightings and discussions of local liquor habits.
Montreal isnt that interesting
wegetup66, Apr 2024
Tour was ok because Montreal is just ok compared to Quebec City. In my humble opinion. The driver and tour guide were courteous and knowledgable.
Great tour

Great tour guide and driver. Had a few great laughs. It was well worth it. Would recommend to everyone.
Confusing Ticketing Process. Beware!
David_C, Apr 2024
I booked online & received what I thought was a barcode ticket to show to the driver, much like booking any bus journey. I presented my phone to the driver who told me I needed a paper ticket & should go to the Gray Line ticket office. I did so and was told by the ticketing clerk that she had my details & I didn't need a ticket. I walked back to the bus & told the Gray Line receptionist what I had been told. He didn't believe me & called the office to check my story. He was told by the person in the office that I was correct & he apologised to me. On boarding the bus the driver asked me for my paper ticket! I am an ancient person and can do without an unnecessary walk & 3 Gray Line personnel telling me different stories. In addition, there is nothing on their website to explain the requirement & process of converting your eticket to a paper one. The tour itself was fantastic and André's in-depth knowledge of his home city was wonderfully interesting.

Good tour

Interesting tour. Good overview of the city. Learned a lot about the points of interest. Comfortable bus.
Snow day
Josephine_H, Mar 2024
So it snowed in Montreal that morning there were certain parts of the tour that were not accessible as roads were closed. There was also a funeral for a former prime minister of Canada occurring in old Montreal so that part of the tour was also skipped. Not to the fault of the tour guide for sure who was excellent and funny and knowledgeable. I think it was just an unfortunate day for a tour. I would try this company again under different circumstances.

An engaging guide (Louis) who gives an interesting and palatable run down of the key sights and stories of Montreal.
A great overview of the city from a warm bus
Adrian_K, Mar 2024
A very knowledgeable guide led our tour providing interesting and relevant information about the Old Montreal, Downtown and Plateau. We saw all of the major landmarks allowing us to have a reference point to return to. The bus was clean and modern and very comfortable.
Well worth the money
garylabella, Mar 2024
Both the guide and driver were tremendous in every way. We really enjoyed the tour immensely because of them.
Great 3 hour tour!
Sarah_L, Mar 2024
It was a great 3 hour trip during which we got a great overview of the city. Our tour guide, Andre, was funny and entertaining and very knowledgable. Highly recommend for an overview of Montreal when you don't have a lot of time (we were only there for a couple of days.)
Excellent Experience
Kars_T, Feb 2024
