Erwin was a great guide. We learned a lot and drank some great beer. It was worth the price of the ticket.

The guide was ok. Our tour was very early during the week and we really didn’t need a reserved table. Even when it was over we walked into a different tent and was able to find seats pretty quickly.

Great experience! It really helped make you feel more a part of the fest! Lots of background knowledge of the area, the history, the tents and beer!

Our guide, Erwin was informative and fun. The meeting spot was easy to find. We enjoyed hearing the history behind Octoberfest and walking around the grounds. The beer was great! Do not expect extra room at the table. The seating is very tight.
      Nice visit to the Wiesn!!

My friend and I booked this tour as a way to ensure a spot inside a tent for the 2022 Oktoberfest. The idea of lining up for hours at 5am in the cold rain was in no way appealing so we spent the money. We met Erwin at the Karlsplatz at 9am and waited just a bit longer for the rest of the group that was running behind. Our group was a pretty good mix with the majority of folks in their 30s and 40s and the rest a bit older. Some wore lederhosen and dirndl, the older ones did not. I think all but two were Americans. Erwin took us to the festival via S-bahn, let us pose for pictures of the Oktoberfest sign, and allowed a bathroom break upon entering. He gave a very interesting account of the annual festival as we went from spot to spot. It was a Sunday morning and I was surprised to see so many families with young kids. He explained that Oktoberfest wasn't just about beer. Before we made it to our tent we were allowed inside a different one albeit very briefly just to take a quick peak. I've been on several guided tours before and found Erwin's pace swift, but not too fast. A sizable portion of the group would usually lag far behind when going from place to place. We were finally taken to our spot within the Schottenhamel tent which was like a box in the corner. This was advantageous or not depending on how you looked at it. Being in a corner It was clear of foot traffic and there was a bit of extra room to "spread out" a bit. It was easy to lay belongings, umbrellas, purses, etc. on the seat or in the booths. The "disadvantage" if you want to call it that, was that the action was essentially behind you, meaning you were not in the middle of wild craziness. My friend and I enjoyed interacting with Erwin who is a super friendly guy along with the other Americans our age in the group. One tip I will give is to make note of the group members you chit chat with and then sit with them at the festival. Looking around at our group it could've been a bit awkward being forced to make conversation and drinking heavily with strangers you had absolutely nothing in common with (including age).

Erwin was great! He provided a lot of history behind Oktoberfest and the reserved tables in the tent were worth the money alone.
      Great times!

This was a great way to get the lay of the land at the Oktoberfest grounds. Our tour guide was great, super knowledgeable and very friendly as a guide. (I think his name was Erwin) Once you get seated you get two drink tickets and food options. The food was good and they allow you to add sides for an extra fee if you'd like. Don't forget to wear your lederhosen or dirndl, it's worth it!

The tour was great with Erwin. He was very knowledgeable about the beers and the history of Oktoberfest. The tent was lively and fun. The other people in the tour were fun as well. After our tour was over we followed Erwin to another tent where he got us a table as well. Overall, a great time.
