What To Expect
Your beer and gastronomic tour begins in the evening at Munich Central Station, where you’ll meet your friendly guide and set off to explore the city’s bustling nightlife and learn the time-honored techniques of German brewing.
Before heading to the first tasting venue, you’ll take an exclusive private tour through the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum in one of Munich's most historic buildings (standing since 1347). Beer is arguably the cultural symbol of Germany—a symbol that has been well protected throughout history, from the ancient tribal Hausfrauen brew-women to the revered Reinheitsgebot (Purity Law) of 1516. Learn about impassioned moments that have contributed to German beer’s continued tradition of excellence, then take your enhanced appreciation to the beer hall.

I booked this kind of last minute on the day I arrived in Munich as I figured, what better way to get over jet lag and get a taste (literally and figuratively!) of Munich! SO glad I did. I’m not a big beer drinker normally but the beer in Munich is so much better and more delicious! I loved learning about the beer history here as well as Octoberfest. It was cool that we got to go through the octoberfest museum with a guide. The tour included a starter/intro beer at the office at the beginning of the tour where we got to know each other and our guide. Then we had a 3 beer tasting and finally finished with dinner which included a full sized beer and sharable plates. I thought the food was plenty to constitute a dinner and I did not leave hungry. It was nice sharing a meal and beer with strangers who became friends. Not to forget our amazing guide Aileen!

We had a great time on this tour. We started at the tour office and had a Pauline’s Hell. At the Octoberfest Museum we tasted three disserent Augustiner beers. We then went to Hauckerhaus and had a family style meal with one drink of our choice.

This was a super tour!! Sam knew his stuff. We started off with a beer and ended with a beer. It was nice to introduce ourselves to the group. The museum was interesting and the beer delicious. Definitely have to do if you're a beer drinker. Highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience, the tour of the bars and food was fabulous, you walk around a bit try lagers, dunkels, pretzels, visit a beer museum, and end with supper, the whole with a extremely knowledgeable individual who knows his beers, history, and food.

I booked this kind of last minute on the day I arrived in Munich as I figured, what better way to get over jet lag and get a taste (literally and figuratively!) of Munich! SO glad I did. I’m not a big beer drinker normally but the beer in Munich is so much better and more delicious! I loved learning about the beer history here as well as Octoberfest. It was cool that we got to go through the octoberfest museum with a guide. The tour included a starter/intro beer at the office at the beginning of the tour where we got to know each other and our guide. Then we had a 3 beer tasting and finally finished with dinner which included a full sized beer and sharable plates. I thought the food was plenty to constitute a dinner and I did not leave hungry. It was nice sharing a meal and beer with strangers who became friends. Not to forget our amazing guide Aileen!

If you like beer, you have to take this tour. Our guide Brand is a man more enjoys talking beer and much as he does drinking it. Our tour included a stop at the beer museum, along with a pretzel and some tastings. Our evening ended with more tasting and a meal that was fit for a king, with starers of sausages and cheeses. followed by a full German dinner...and more finer German beer.

Bernd, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable. He gave us a great history of brewing in Munich, as well as the science behind beer brewing. Dinner was delicious- I would recommend this to anyone!
