You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

The o ly way to see Wine Country

Best tour EVER! Jeff and Shannon were awesome! You not only get an amazing tour of the region you get a free comedy show! Jeff was hilarious from the moment we arrived until the moment he “let us down!” It was a great tour from the sky by a knowledgeable host! Do not visit Sonoma or Napa without doing a hot air balloon ride with Sonoma Ballooning!

Jeff our pilot was amazing, great personality. He was totally focused on providing the best flight experience and was great at calming my wife’s fear of flying. Excellent experience from start to finish!! Highly recommend!! 5 stars

Staff was professional and business-like with some corny jokes thrown in! Safety was first priority. They were efficient. The balloon flight was great. Captain Chad was professional. The views were beautiful.

WE HAD A GREAT TIME! My husband, who is afraid of heights was able to join me and loved it! Chad, our pilot was amazing, very experienced which gave us peace of mind. These are very serious and experiences people. Great team! You are received with champagne!

It was a wonderful experience trying the Sonoma Hot Air Ballooning with SkyCandy. Kudos to our pilot Mr. Jose for making this adventure more memorable and safe. Loved the sunrise from top view. View of vineyard, the valley and the mountains cannot be expressed in words, you have to experience it. Thank you for arranging the best adventure ever.

The entire experience was fantastic our pilot was very knowledgeable and had a fantastic personality. If you're ever thinking of going on a balloon ride I would highly recommend. You would not be disappointed.

If I could leave 6 stars I would. From the personalities of the staff to the entire experience everything was incredible and smooth. I was between Sonoma and Napa companies but ended up here and so happy for reasons I didn’t even know at the time. Because of local laws Sonoma is allowed to leave earlier. So we got much better views than my friends who were on a Napa tour. But that’s not even what made the tour great. The best part of the entire thing is our guide was the owner and you wouldn’t have known. Super humble and great dude. He sets an amazing tone which you can see trickles through his staff. Hands down pick this one.
First class operation

Even Though the weather did not cooperate in the valley, we went to a area about 45 minutes away and had a very successful flight. The staff and pilot were first class and a joy to deal with. They gave us ample opportunity to reschedule or cancel if we did not feel comfortable with the change of venue. We are so glad we chose to go! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and could not have started it in a better way. Thank you Sonoma ballooning!

We were celebrating our 4 yrs together, but they separated my girlfriend and put her in a different bin. :/ Our guide Mateo was pretty cool, funny, informative, professional, nice. Not a fan of the 45 min ride to and from the launch/landing spot for a total of 1.5 hrs! The flight itself is pretty short for what you pay.

The staff was wonderful and the set up was just the way I expected. Coffee in the morning, good instructions, lovely flight and bubbly at the end.
