      The perfect introduction to 12 South

      We love a food tour but did not know what to expect heading to an area on the outskirts of the city. What a fantastic choice! JP (our guide) was fun and engaging from start to finish. We were lucky to have a great group of people who were happy to chat and get into the spirit but JP also took the time to walk and sit with each of us to tell more about the venues, area and Nashville. We visited some great places along the way. Lots of photo opportunities with flower walls and murals. Even Dolly Parton recording studio which was a highlight. The particular favourites to eat were the Five Daughters Bakery doughnuts and Eddies BBQ, oh and of course fried pickles too. Now that’s one we are taking home! There was an option to purchase drinks in each place too but this is not compulsory. 12 South is vibrant, stylish and safe. We stayed around the area for another couple of hours after the tour finished. We did some shopping in Draper James and had drinks at various places too like Playdate. Would not hesitate to recommend this to everyone visiting. Such a pleasant afternoon exploring something we would not have seen without the tour.

      Nik was a wealth of information an this easy walking tour. He shared history and other places to visit. Food was outstanding and plentiful.

      Wonderful tour with Raven. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. The only odd thing was visiting clothing stores and a scent store during a food tour. Then again, the heat was extreme so perhaps the stops were for some cool air. I highly recommend it.
