Enjoyable day but misleading about what is included.

I find this review hard to write because I did have an enjoyable day but on reflection it did not live up to the advertisement promoting the tour. I thought I was getting a tour which was no shopping and included the Baby Taj but I reflect on the day and it ended up going via a marble manufacturing business and I don't recall going to the Baby Taj and have no photos of it. The hotel pickup started well and dropping off at the train station. Arrival in Agra didn't go to plan as I wasn't sure where to wait. I saw many tourists meeting their guide on the station platform, so I thought that would apply to me. Train went and everyone left and eventually the driver did come with my name on a sign. Lesson, ask where to meet and wait for driver/guide on arrival. Drivers in New Delhi and Agra take you photo and send to the other destination, so they know who they are looking for. This is a good idea. The driver and guide (Narendra) were very professional and were local with good knowledge of the sights. The guide did keep on asking me something like "where to next". I found this odd, the guide should know what I tour I booked on. Nearing the end of the day he followed this up with "the train station". I then mentioned that the reason I booked this tour was the sunset view across the river to the Taj Mahal. I do wonder if I not had mentioned this, whether we would have actually gone there. Mehtab Bagh (Taj Mahal Sunset View Point) is definitely worth the visit, it was a highlight of the day for me. The marble manufacturing exhibition and shop. This wasn't part of the tour description but I did enjoy learning about how the craftsmen (dependents from the craftsman that made the Taj Mahal) perform their art. The shop is very high quality and tasteful. The salespeople do not quote inc tax, so with 18% tax on top, my credit card bill was a lot more than I was expecting. I also wonder did we miss the Baby Taj because we went here, I do not recall having it explained that we would miss the Baby Taj. I did have an enjoyable day and I do feel that I had a good experience and now know a lot about Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal. A review is about the whole package including is the description accurate and I do not feel it was accurate and hence the 3 star rating.

Fabulous Day at one of The Wonders of The World

An excellent tour which my wife and two daughters throughly enjoyed. Although an early start and less than impressive train journey, the tour was made by our guide Santosh and driver Ikrar, who were both excellent. The Taj Mahal is spellbinding, you can’t take your eyes off it….but our visit would have been missing an essential part without the guidance, knowledge and friendliness of Santosh. A mine if information which was delivered in an very informative manner. He kept us spellbound with the history of this amazing Mausoleum. We throughly recommend both Santosh and Ikrar to you, you will not be disappointed.

This tour was VERY well organized from start to finish! I did not have to worry about anything whatsoever as all logistics were planned out and executed perfectly by each individual involved. As for the tour, my guide (Santosh) was amazing. Very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and accommodating, attentive and is overall an awesome guy. Made for an unforgettable experience as I learned so much. A major plus, Santosh takes great pictures at the Taj! Highly recommended!

This was an all inclusive experience that my wife and I really enjoyed. First off all, the tour operator was very serious about making sure we were accommodated and our wishes respected. I believe if I had any issues with any step, I could have reached out via whatsapp and it would have been addressed. I got a feeling of security regarding customer service. Pretty much everything went like clockwork. Driver picked us up at the right time from the hotel and got us to the train station. He helped us get to the right car and right seats. Then we had a pleasant ride to Agra. The train class was "First Class", but take that with a grain of salt. Not bad, but not luxurious at all. There was meal service, the kind of cheap prepackaged food that was more snacks. It satisfied however. Careful with the cooked portions given out; these are prepared in some industrial kitchen and brought onto the train to serve. Got a little rumble in my stomach from these, but your milage may vary. Instructions for what to do when leaving train in Agra were clear, and we met our guide easily. My name was on a sign he held up. Our guide to the various sites in Agra, including the Taj, was very hood. Patient, intelligent, very good at giving photo tips and explaining what we were looking at. The lunch break was at the Marriott hotel nearby...really top notch lunch buffet. A much better choice than finding a local restaurant. Great food. After lunch the rest of the sites in the tour. Note** We had asked for no shopping, and they very much respected that. I did mentioned I wanted to get a souvenir, so we had to specifically inform the tour operator so that the guide had permission to stop at a shop. (Be prepared to be hustled by various shop owners, restaurants, etc. If you allow guides to take you "shopping") Our guide got us back to the train in plenty of time, showed real care and concern in making sure we were settled. Another little meal service on the train (which we declined). The only hoccup was on getting back to Delhi, we had some trouble finding the driver. He was waiting in the wrong place which caused concern and delay. Thank goodness we brought a hot spot with us, as there is no free WiFi in any Public place. Without that wifi we would not have been able to find our driver. Keep that in mind.

We highly recommend this tour. The taxi picked us up from our hotel, and he made sure we sat in the correct train/seats. Our train was late getting to Agra due to heavy fog. The food on the first class train ride was tasty and plentiful. After arriving at the train station, the tour guide picked us up. We went to Taj Mahal first. He explained everything in English, and helped us take some pics. We then went for buffet lunch at the hotel. Food was very tasty with several good veg and non veg options. Afterwords, because we were limited on time due to late train, we visited baby Taj and red fort on the outside and took pics. Then the guide took us to train station and made sure we were on the correct train, and then driver at train station returned us to hotel. We are a family of 5. Highly recommend this package.

Everything was just excellently done - from the drivers in Delhi who made sure that I'm in my seat on the train, to the driver in Agra who ensured that we wasted no time waiting, to the brilliant guide in Agra. The guide in particular was excellent, he didn't just know the history and lore of the monuments intimately and shared it with great passion, but he also knew exactly how to make the visit to each site the best it could be. He knew exactly what the best viewing points at each monument were and where and how to take great pictures, taking lots of the best ones himself! He made my visit truly special. The logistics and communication were also professionally done and I was never in doubt about anything. I can highly recommend this tour. If you want to visit Agra from Delhi in one day - this is the tour to book.

Everything went smoothie from the Hotel pick up in the morning until drop off in the evening. Drivers and guide were waiting with name signs as expected. My guide was very knowledgeable and since all tickets were pre-booked there were no waiting time at the attractions. Lunch at Marriott was excellent. I'm happy to give my best recommendations for this tour.

Best city tour I've ever made. Our guide Chitwan was very kind and guaranteed at any time a good experience of the different locations we visited. At the moment, I travel to different locations in India. So far, I booked several tours over Viator, but this tour was the best ever organised tour. It started with pick-up at the hotel and the drop-off at the railway station (the driver guided us to the plattform and the section on the plattform). In terms of the train, I recommend you to book the first class coach. As we arrived in Agra, Chitwan and the driver were already there and showed us around. The buffett at the Marriott was awesome and good place to relax a little bit of the tour. According to our needs, Chitwan and the driver adapted the tour, can only say the best about it. As we headed back to Delhi and the hotel, everything again worked really well, from the drop-off at the plattform in Agra to the pick-up from the driver in Delhi to again the drop-off at the hotel. To sum up, I felt at any time very secure and the tour was well planned. The tour is it cost worth it and I can only recommend it to you.

This was our first activity after arriving in Delhi and we only had the one chance as we arrived on a Wed, Taj Mahal is closed Fri, and we departed Sat. My wife repeatedly said how she felt spoiled throughout and that it was worth whatever I spent. Everyone we communicated with was very kind and helpful. Amrit got all of bookings scheduled and kept in touch before and during our trip. Bhupi, our driver in Delhi, was very prompt and kind. He was nice to talk with and provided true door to door service. Prabhat, our guide in Agra, is very proud of his city and wants to show it off. He is experienced at getting his guests through all of the bottlenecks. He is clearly known around town as he greeted many other people we encountered during the day. I forget the driver’s name in Agra, but we was also polite and ready with cold water everyone he magically appeared as we approached the street. He also made sure we got on our return train okay. The train rides were comfortable and included expedient food service. The Taj is gorgeous and truly a wonder to see in person. The Agra Fort is so expansive. The buffet lunch at the hotel was a good spread with extremely sweet desserts. As a smaller group during a less busy season, we also had time to view local marble and rug artisans at the end of the day. Overall, highly recommend for your touring needs in India.

Il tour era ben organizzato. L'autista è venuto puntuale in Hotel e ci ha portati alla stazione e poi fin sopra al treno. Ad Agra abbiamo facilmente incontrato l'autista e la guida Manish che è stato bravissimo. Ci ha spiegato il Taj Mahal e gli altri monumenti in maniera approfondita. Al ritorno non riuscivo a contattare l'autista ma l'organizzatore del tour ha subito risolto il problema, quindi non sei lasciato da solo, ma seguito durante tutto il tour.Abbiamo mangiato benissimo in un ristorante fantastico di un Hotel a 5 stelle. Lo consiglio assolutamente.

De treinreis is een aanrader, doch het comfort niet te vergelijken met een Europese trein. Je krijgt voldoende drank en eten, wat prima is. De chauffeur helpt u op de juiste trein en in Agra staat de gids op het perron je op te wachten. De gids was zeer behulpzaam en kende de beste plekjes om foto’s te maken. Echt geweldig! Zeker een aanrader daar het tot in de puntjes goed georganiseerd is.
