What To Expect

Your driver arrives at your hotel in New Delhi and transfers you by air-conditioned car to the New Delhi railway station.

Depart for Agra on an air-conditioned express train that offers complimentary breakfast. Your private guide and driver meet you at the Agra railway station to begin your private tour.

Travel in an air-conditioned vehicle, heading first to the Taj Mahal. Built in the 17th century by Emperor Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal is one of India's most iconic sights. Next up, take in the palaces inside the Agra Fort, an architectural wonder made for the Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565AD. 

Take a break for lunch at a restaurant (own expense) then visit the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj), the first Mughal structure built completely from marble. Sitting on the banks of the Yamuna River, it is a great location for photo ops and views across Agra.

Then, spend some time in Agra before transferring to the Agra train station for the return journey to Delhi. 

Upon arrival in New Delhi, your tour ends with transfer back to your hotel.

The experience was great. Out guide was pretty proficient in English and Spanish. The explained very well all the stories of the Taj Mahal and the fort. He also has all the pic tips in the world so he took us great pictures. Highly recommended!

Tour run by true professionals!

Tour is run professionally and every step is planned out meticulously. The driver picks me up on time from the hotel in New Delhi , takes me to the assigned train seat, then 2 hours later my guide, Sadiq meets me at the platform in Agra to collect me before starting the tour. Sadiq is the best part of this tour as he knows every phone photography’s trick, and the best spots to take your once in a lifetime pictures against the backdrop of the majestic Taj Mahal. Also, with him beside you, no tout will ever come harass you. Unless you are a savvy traveler and have the knowledge to navigate between New Delhi and Agra, I recommend this tour and save yourself tons of headaches.

Everything went perfectly, the program itself, the organisation and all of the operators were excellent. The driver and first of all the well prepared and professional guide Arham did everything to make our experience wonderful. The train journey was very comforable and the lunch was provided in a five star hotel which also exceeded our expectations. The sites we visited were also all spectacular.

All in all the experience was very smooth, pick up from the hotel was timely and the driver took me all the way into the train car making sure I was in the right seat. The train ride was pleasant, and the train arrived in Agra on time. The guide picked me up from the platform upon arrival and we started with the tour - Taj Mahalo first, then lunch break and then Baby Taj, Agra Fort. The guide provided detailed information and also made sure we avoided the queue at all sites! I traveled right after Holi festival, so there was a high chance for train delays on the way back to Delhi. The company took that into account and offered to drive me to Delhi instead at no extra cost! All in all I had a great experience and can definitely recommend this option if you're looking for a day trip to Agra from Delhi. My only criticism - the online description of the different tour options could be more transparent as to what exactly is covered in the cost and what not.

Great one day trip to the Taj!

Wonderful tour, very well organized-picked up promptly at the hotel, taken to the railroad station and placed in my seat with my wife by my side-when we got off the train in Agra a driver immediately guided us to his waiting car. We will take him to the local office to use the restroom and to freshen up. Our guide was there and we set off by car and Tuk Tuk to close to the Taj Mahal gate. Our guide Amaan was great- really good English speaking, very knowledgeable about the history of the sites in Agra. The trip was handled extremely professionally. But the best part was our guide Amaan.

This is the type of tour perfect for people that wants to do things at their own pace rather you want to take it easy or to move fast. My tour guide Kamran, which I highly recommend, was extremely professional and went in detail about the story behind the Taj Majal. Kamran was very passionate about the monument’s story, his Emperor Shah Jahan, his family and the Mughal Empire. You won’t be disappointed specially if you choose Lamran as a guide.

Highly recommend unless you’re a solo female traveler

My guide was Chirag and I had a wonderful time - I would book Chirag again. He was informative and helpful, and even took us to a store we wanted to go to because we had time to burn before the train back. The only thing I would say to consider is this is pretty much a private tour. So if you’re a solo female traveler, keep that in mind: you won’t be with a group. I was with a family member so it turned out great for us. Thanks Chirag!

I had a fantastic experience on this day trip from New Delhi. The tour company made it a very easy and seamless process throughout. I was picked up from my hotel, taken to the train station, and taken to my seat on the train. After that, I was picked up from the station by my guide, Dharmendar, who was absolutely fantastic. He ensured I got to see everything and was extremely knowledgeable about every part of each site we went to and answered all questions. He also made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire tour and provided good tips on things to look out for being a tourist. He also takes fantastic pictures. The driver was also fantastic and did a great job throughout. Once we were finished, I was taken back to the train station and again taken to my seat on the train and then picked up again from the train station and brought back to my hotel. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to do a great day trip and not have to worry about figuring everything out yourself.

Taj Mahal was great and the stories and explanations from the guide enhanced the experience. The coordination of travel (car pickups and train tickets) all went well. We ran a little short of time towards the end of the day after going to Agra Fort and wound up missing the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, but other than that everything was great.

Tour was great and we especially enjoyed the tour guide Arham. He was fantastic and really made the trip even better. My only complaint would be that the food on the train was terrible in my opinion. Please plan to bring your own food if you ask me, but other than that, we had no complaints. And fully recognize the food was not something the tour company is responsible for but just mentioning for others so you can plan ahead if you are a picky eater like me. Thanks again Arham!!!

We had a fabulous tour day with our guide, Sadiq Hussein! Very friendly, professional, and had a wealth of knowledge about the Taj Mahal and other areas explored during our tour. I would highly recommend him!! The tour included a train ride from Delhi to Agra and the tour provided an excellent hand off of guides between the 2 sites.

Great day trip. Looked after very well from start to finish by helpful and friendly team. Very friendly and knowledgeable guide in Agra Amit. Taxi driver at Delhi end went beyond by waiting 2.5 hours for our delayed train to get us home safe.

Excellent Experience and totally recommended , you basically only need to get ready and wait in your Pick up point, rest will be taken care of. My driver was amazing, making the whole trip a very good experience. Chirag ,who was my guide have made my trip unforgettable, the attention to the details, the personal care , explanations and even acting as a photographer :) . The tour is good value for money , you just sit relax and enjoy :)

Viewing the Taj Mahal was a awe inspiring event and the architectural wonder that the Agra Fort is beyond words. All the historical information provided by our guide, Arif made the tour a lot more meaningful. Loved the personal interaction with the marble inlay expert artisan Arif introduced us too. The entire tour was organised professionally and everything was seamless.

We were on a magical train tour through the heart of Agra and uncover the timeless beauty of its iconic monuments. At the station the Tour guide Abdul Amir he was waiting for us he greeted so nicely. Then he took us to The Taj Mahal, its white marble surface glowing in the soft light of the morning sun. Then our guide Abdul Amir took us to the Agra Fort we saw that fort from outside just because lake of time, where you can immerse yourself in the rich history of the Mughal Empire while marveling at the intricate architecture of this magnificent fort. Later, as the day comes to a close, the train offers a leisurely journey back, allowing you to reflect on the awe-inspiring sights you've witnessed.
