To be able to visit so many iconic spot on one tour was amazing. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The Akshardham, though newly built, was history in the making. Arrangements worked perfectly. Guide Evi? was excellent. Akshardham is spectacular - but cameras not allowed. The Lotus temple is also impressive and a great place to sit aand contemplate: cameras allowed, but not inside the main area. Were lucku enough to encounter a wedding at the ISKCON.

Be prepared to be surprised in some of the temples and soak in the atmosphere, particularly at ISKCON. Being comfortable shoes, and expect to take them off at every stop, including some walking in the street/sidewalk barefoot.

Very disappointed. The guide showed up late and asked me: So what are we seeing today? What? I wasn't prepared with a print out of the tour we booked which I had painstakingly researched in the days before leaving the US. We had 1 free day before joining a 16 day tour of India with OAT so I tried to get a one day tour which wouldn't duplicate what was on the itinerary and which I thought would be most interesting to us. So here we are in a hotel lobby with our phones on wifi and I'm distressed searching the web for the tour. I found one that was a runner up, not my first choice and had trouble letting go of that. Being my first time in India, I wouldn't have been able to know just how short changed I was except that our tour included the Sikh Temple and the OAT guide took us there again the next day. Night and day difference. This guide took us in and said little except how lucky we were service was going on. He failed to show or tell us about how many people they serve food to where as the OAT guide not only showed us the dining hall but also the kitchen which was very impressive and our group got to assist with making the naan. Lastly, our tour ended almost two hours early because we were lucky there wasn't traffic. If you take one of these I hope you are luckier than we were with the guide and recommend you have a print out of your intended tour.

The tour guide and the driver were fantastic, professional and arrived on time. The guide was knowledgeable and explained about the temples and history of India. Bad side of tour- If you get car sick, take pills before, it's a lot of driving and turns, traffic and bad drivers. Overall was great!

Ashkardam is amazing. Too bad photos are not allowed inside. you just really have to see them with your own eyes. But of course nothing beats Taj Mahal . Our experience from visiting different temples is very enlightening. We have learned so much and somehow we felt spiritually energized. On a different note, Shanti our driver is very kind enough to take us to Raj Ghat even if it is not included in the package. Our lady guide also brought us to a shop that tailors authentic indian dresses. They will get your measurements and create it according to your desired style from a variety of beautiful fabrics to choose from. They will even deliver it to your hotel! Speaking of which, I had a little panic as the delivery was quite late and it was my flight the next day. As always, Shanti and our lady guide saved the day by contacting the shop. This tour company and its employees are very reliable. Thank you again!
