What To Expect

After pickup from your hotel, your private driver takes you to the port of Sanur, gives you your fast boat tickets, and shows you to the counter. After check-in and a 30-minute crossing, your Nusa Penida chauffeur collects you at the port and the tour begins.

Start at Broken Beach (Pasih Uug Beach) and Angel’s Billabong, two extraordinary rock formations, one a circle of cliffs, the other a natural infinity pool. Enjoy a photo stop at Nusa Penida’s signature sight, Kelingking Beach, with its spine of shearing cliffs, then continue to the pale sands of Crystal Bay, where you can opt to rent gear for a snorkeling session.

There’s time for an Indonesian lunch before you return to the harbor, say goodbye to your driver, and cross to Sanur. Here a new driver greets you and brings you back to your hotel.

This was the highlight of our honeymoon in Bali and we had the best tour operators and guides! Our guide on Nusa Penida, Iputu Anadiana, showed us all around the island and took some amazing pictures and videos of us. He helped us get situated for our snorkeling adventure, and even held our stuff while we were away from shore. Our driver from our accommodations in Canguu, Ketut Aris, made excellent conversation with us on the drive to the port and answered lots of questions we had about Bali. It was such a great excursion, and an experience that I would recommend 10 times out of 10!

We booked trip for 16 people with friends and families. It was very average experience we got. I want to mention that the operators assigned by Viator was natural tours and persons leading that trip at nusa panida was very immature and doesn’t have any respect for families ,they were talking in very bad language and much disrespectful ways…The food quality was too bad…more over they have not completed the tour as mentioned spots….so I don’t recommend Viator for booking miss panida day tour.

Amazing views - Lunch needs improvement

The drivers in Canggu & Nusa were amazing. So helpful and kept us entertained -Also took amazing pictures of the views. However, the owners of the tour need to improve the lunch. Lunch includes one dish and a drink. The menu is limited with not a lot of options - we had to order another dish and pay extra. For the cost of the tour - the lunch should be a lot better.

Your basically paying to be on your arse the entire day. Bumpy roads, crowded boats and all the stops are swamped with tourists to such an extent that you can’t even witness the beauty of it. Would not recommend it whatsoever.

Dear Aris Thank you for your feedback! But it's a shame that you gave us one star because the problem of many guests visiting Nusa Penida is normal! It's just a tourist attraction and if you don't like crowds, don't book my tour. The problem of crowded boats is because currently it is the high season for domestic tourists visiting Bali and all my customers understand the current situation.

Penida day trip

I think the most memorable part of our trip was Angels Billabong and Broken Beach. That’s not to say everything else was saw was bad just they stood out more. The tour group provided were excellent. Good knowledge of what to see and where we were going. The included meal was most enjoyable and the staff there friendly. No problem going back again.

It was a very hot day, both the drivers picking up from Kuta and the one on Nusa Penida were very courteous and good drivers. We were given good service. The klingklin beach was amazing and so was crystal beach. All and all we enjoyed the trip.

We had experience/nice drivers. But the SUV’s aircon not strong enough for the heat in nusa pineda. The road along the way has too many potholes that made the drive very bumpy on a very narrow road. The last beach that we were allowed to swim has lots of empty plastic bottles on the sand. The area was not kept clean. Lastly the lunch included in the package was good if you’re on diet, meal portion is kids. Water 4oz

Thank you for your feedback and all the tourist have understood the problem of damaged and bumpy roads and I think all my drivers have explained the road problems in Nusa Penida and for the trash in Crystal Bay Becah, it's currently the rainy season in Bali and I can't predict the weather. The plastic bottles were shipped because of the rainy weather in Bali. Thank you

Wonderful tour with Aris and Alit

Aris and Alit were incredibly helpful. After Alit dropped us off at the port and made sure we got on ok, we crossed to Nusa Penida and met Aris. Aris was very personable and friendly, and helped us any way he could. My partner gets car sick sometimes and he provided some ointment to help her, as well as cooling the car down before we got in after some of the treks. The views were beautiful, but make sure you bring water as it can be hot walking in the sun. The snorkelling was great, but be wary that it's off the boat so if you haven't snorkelled before bear that in mind (there are life jackets available on the boat). Overall a fantastic experience.

The trip cost us 260$ AUD but was not worth that much. We had pick up which was good but after that everything went upside down. The fast boat was so compacted for that much money and guided driver in Nusa Penida was not at all helpful. I’m sure you can find cheaper packages than this. The lunch was so bad and the place was full of flys and no electricity so they gave us warm cold drinks as well. We hardly spent 15 minutes at each place all together the driver took us to three places. It was not worth it and never visiting again. Scam !!!!!!

Currently Nusa Penida is a very busy place visited by tourists and therefore all the fast companies intend to be busy and wherever you book you want, the port is almost as busy with passengers. for our drivers in Nusa Penida who have done their best for customers who visit Nusa Penida and maybe people's assessments are different. I hope that before booking, please read the itinerary in more detail! Thank you

Poor snorkelling tour

Snorkelling part of the trip was not upto the mark. We had requested for power glasses while booking the trip. However no such arrangement was available. The agency organising snorkelling can arrange a lot more changing rooms and washrooms (which were awfully short). The positive side of the trip was the visit to Klingking beach with spectacular views.

The experience itself was good, the drivers were great but there is room for improvement. We could suggest providing some water during the long drives as the temperature is very high. The lunch should have been a little more rich, it was tiny and only 1 small water was included in this heat. Also our 3rd person could not come and we paid for it, we asked for a refund and we did not get it. Views were beautiful though just strenuous walks without water at least included was not very pleasant.

Thank you for your feedback and I just want to make sure that if you want to cancel you have to do it 24 hours beforehand, therefore we can't refund your money and that's a working system. For lunch that's all we provide and the drinks also include small mineral water. but all my customers are fine with the dishes we provide! Thank you

We loved our trip to nusa penida. Would highly recommend to anyone! Our driver adi was very polite and helpful, aswell as our tour guide gu. They both made the trip fun and enjoyable. It was nice to have a private tour around the island as you could stay for as long as you wanted in each place and customise our own trip! We would love to do it again. The views are incredible.
