What To Expect

When you book this tour, please briefly explain where you plan to visit in the “remarks” field. That lets your private driver plan your itinerary, adjust your schedule if the logistics don’t quite work, or provide suggestions for other attractions to visit.

On the day, your private driver will pick you up from your address in Ubud or much of south Bali in the size of car you’ve selected.

Then they’ll customize your Ubud and south Bali itinerary to the most time-effective route, giving you all the freedom of independent travel without the self-drive stress.

Your tour lasts for 10 hours but can be extended for a small hourly surcharge. It covers south and central Bali, including Ubud, but you can travel to Karangasem and Klungkung in east Bali or Buleleng in north Bali for a surcharge.

Your driver covers gas, but any tolls and parking fees are at your own expense.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Good experience with proper planning

We had booked through Viator.com. The driver assigned was Astama through Bali Sun tours. We had a nice car and driver. They were prompt in communication, pickup and had a good day trip. Since we had not booked a package, there was some confusion regarding what areas were covered vs excluded. Better to check with them ahead of time. Driver recommended a nice waterfall Leke Leke that we had not originally planned and it was a good experience. Ulun Danu Beratan was the best experience.

I had lea as my driver. When I saw that a woman pulled up I was so excited especially since I’m a solo woman. I instantly felt comfortable. She was so nice and friendly and we had good chats. She came with me and took pictures for me even after I drug her down all the stairs for the waterfalls. Then she took me out to Uluwatu and she was always where she said she would be to meet me. She then got me back safely. Thank you so much Lea !! I enjoyed our day together. Thanks for being my friend for a day!!

We only had a half day available to see Bali before boarding our cruise ship. Our tour guide took us to see the best of Ubud. We toured the Monkey Forest and the Tegallalang rice paddies where we got to swing out over the rice fields. It was so much fun!

The communication with driver and tour company are very smooth. Appreciate the tour company helps to arrange driver for airport pickup in less than 24hours notice. One star is not included as we were not told the waterfall place we interested visiting needs to walk a lot of stairs and pass through water path, so we were totally not prepared well. Would appreciate if the tour person could share those info upfront when we share the itinerary before the trip.

Nyoman Uli was a fantastic driver and tour guide! This trip exceeded my expectations and he did an absolutely incredible job guiding us to multiple waterfalls, a coffee plantation, Bali swings, and good food. He knew the best order to go to all of the waterfalls to avoid crowds and how much time we would need at each one and did our itinerary accordingly. He messaged us the night before to confirm our location and was on time at our hotel in the morning. His English was great and he was able to joke with us too! We had a great time and highly recommend Bali Sun Tours and Nyoman!

Pickup on time at hotel. Had a list of things to see. Car was comfortable it was a lot of driving but got to waterfall ( not the one I wanted and a little more hiking on wet trails ) temples. Rice paddies and a lot of Bali. Went to grocery store before drop off. Awok did a good job of explaining some of his culture and safely maneuvering in bad traffic overall a good way to see a lot of Bali

The driver met us right on time at the cruise port. He was easy to find with his company t-shirt. He gave us a selection of places to go see in Bali. But there was far too much driving to go to Ubud. Traffic was atrocious. Ubud was a letdown, full of people, traffic, and noise. Not a charming town as I was expecting. We would have been better off going to the beach.
