Seafood and sunsets

We had a lovely time doing a tour of Uluwatu temple and watching the Kecak dance at sunset time. Our guide Putu was very knowledgeable, friendly and his English was excellent. He helped us cross the paths of the pesky monkeys with no problem and also got us the best seats in the house for the performance. Putu also recommended us a lovely seafood restaurant where we had a table right on the beach watching the waves which was very romantic! Thank you so much for a lovely half day tour and great conversation!

This was an awesome trip, our guide Ardita was super helpful in navigating the scary driving conditions in Bali. This personalized tour allowed us to sit back, relax, and take in all the amazing sites. The temples, scenery, and views were beautiful and breathtaking. Ardita helped us get some once in a lifetime photos. The fire show was cool and educational. He also explained and helped us explore a lot of the city as well as the paid tour. Lastly, he protected us from these super aggressive monkeys. The monkeys were cute, but they would take your belongings if you are not careful. After the tour, he took us for a beachfront dinner that was great. Ardita was funny, helpful, and professional. Thanks Nick (Texas) and Curtis (Seattle)

Really fun trip to Uluwatu

It was amazing. The tour guide is very helpful in keeping everything on schedule and making sure we have the best show for the kecak fire dance. He also helped us protect our stuff from being stolen by monkeys. I definitely recommend and would go again. The dance itself is really well done and the view from the temple is beautiful.

We booked the fire dance tour along with a ticket for the show. Please note that while the ticket is not included in the tour the guide will help you purchase them at the gate for the 6pm sunset dance and find the best seats, so tickets are guaranteed but have to be brought once there, so there’s no need to book both like we did. We were picked up at 2pm by our wonderful tour guide Putu, who was talkative and friendly the whole time. Due to our tickets being booked for 7pm he helped pass time by taking us on a free coffee and tea tasting tour which was a pleasant surprise and fun too! When we arrived at the beautiful temple Putu was very knowledgeable and informative explaining many of the traditions that would take place in the temple. The fire dance if worthwhile and overall I would recommend booking a driver as it does make quite a complicated excursion simple, thanks Putu!

Our guide Pedro was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He was an exceptionally brilliant driver through the Bali traffic, his knowledge of his Hindu religion was excellent and he was able to purchase our entry tickets for us without drama. In fact, he seemed to be friendly with everybody he dealt with during the trip! I would recommend this trip and especially Pedro to everybody. The only downside (if you can call it that) was the fire dance was a bit slow in the beginning, but the second half was great.

It was a hassle free trip with pick up and drop off from our hotel in uluwatu. Our guide was really nice and helpful and even added an extra stop at the coffee plantation. Would recommend if you want to be taken around the uluwatu temple and to Jimbaran for dinner at the beach without having to arrange your own transport after dark.

Fun and entertaining

This tour was quite impressive. Our tour guide Pedro was prompt, kind, and hilarious. He was also considerate to what we wanted in a tour. He made sure we were able to get in to the Kecak dance on time, he took us through the main highlights while avoiding the crowds and talked with us about the temples past, and present events. He was flexible with what we wanted and gave us a good time line to work with. The dance itself was fun and inviting. I would recommend to anyone and would love to do it again someday.

Nice temple and show, but thats not what you pay for

The fire show was really nice and also the area of the temple and around. Our tour guide was not reslly motivated to show things and we felt like in the constant rush. As the tour does not include the tickets, the payment basically included the transport and the walk with the guide through some sides of the area. We would not recommend this regarding the price. Lastly, we needed to stop at a coffee place in which we could try small cups of coffee that can be bought afterwards. We think this should be communicated within the description. All in all, nice temple anf show, but thats not what you pay for.

First of all , we are sorry for you inconvenience being not happy with our service provided . As our standard procedure of our tour guide, the tour guide always explain the customer and showing of the temple around, to see cliff view , temple and other place in the temple area and also tell the story is , taking pictures of you and your tour guide will help you with the naughty monkeys in the temple. It’s if we count can be take 1 hour, after that finish the tour guide let you stay in sade or find some drink /coffee /tea while the tour guide get the dance tickets for you and around 5:30 or early the tour guide will escort you to find a good place in the stadium to watch the dance that expect you could see a view , sunset during the dance (that explaination depending on the customer agree , the best time we recommend at 5 but if hot to you, you may come to stadium before 6 but if the busy season you maybe can’t find the good sit because there no sit number on the tickets ). After all explainayion the tour guide will wait you in the meeting point until the dance finish because the tour guide can’t accompany you in stadium (it’s customer only ). After dance finish, Then you may continue to the next itinerary or go back to your hotel. But in this case, we are sorry in your inconvenience being not happy in what we provide , especially not happy pay us with this amount . We are already setting- up very clearly in the site that our product it’s not ALL INCLUDE . We recommend strongly before you book , please check and read it , then you know very well what is you should spend for it . if in the first you not happy then everything will bad outcome. We also allow cancelation with in before 24hrs . The view from Uluwatu is majestic and the Kecak dance is very well done and entertaining. The dancing group was so well trained, gifted, and thoughtful- really felt like they wanted us all to have a really great experience ! And we are so glad we chose a guide/tour for this trip! Our tour guide, Putu is the best! We had such a great conversation on the ride. He knows the history of the temple and area and balinese culture really well and made sure we were comfortable for the whole trip. So kind and thoughtful. We noticed a lot of people didn't have a guide or know where to go along the way for good picture spots or how to deal w monkeys properly- can't express how grateful we are for this tour and Putu! Thank you again!!

What a fantastic tour.. Thankyou to Putu our guide and driver who took us to Uluwatu Temple and showed us the best view points, helped us navigate the cheeky monkeys and was there to organise our tickets with a VIP entrance to the best seats in the stadium.. the sunset was amazing, the fire dance was awesome and so was Putu’s service.. many stories shared and more memories made.. Putu was an AMAZING tour guide! He was knowledgeable, kind, and he went to great lengths to make sure our tour was everything we could have dreamed. Putu taught us about the customs of the local Hindu religion in Bali and answered all of our questions thoroughly throughout the day. He also gave us great recommendations for food and tips about the country to use during our stay here!

BOOK THIS TOUR! We had the most incredible day with Putu as our guide. From the very first moments of picking us up he was so friendly, funny amd knowledgeable. Not only did he know all the roads to take to avoid traffic but he was first in line of about 200 people to make sure we got tickets gor the sunset kecak dance. He took us around the temple himself so he could translate and explain everything and gave is open opportunities to ask questions about the culture and religion. He got us into the stadium in great time, with the best seats (we saw alot of other guides coming in far too late and even when the show had started), he made sure we had water (we seemed to be some of the fee whose guides had picked it up for them as it's included with your ticket and very much needed) and gave us advice on the best exit afterwards to meet him easily. He looked after us all day, we felt we had the best of it and it's thanks to Putu. He gave is great advice about the monkeys too, so we felt safe and enjoyed every moment of this tour. The views from the cliffs are utterly breathtaking. The show was epic! The views and the dancing and singing made it such an unforgettable experience. Powerful, fun and moving. I'd recommend this tour to everyone. Thankyou Putu!
