Driver ghosted. Nearly missed an international flight.

In complete fairness, this review is not for the airport transfer service -- because it was never rendered. Despite full prior payment and previous day communication and confirmation with the driver, he never showed up and did not respond to any WhatsApp messages on the confirmed date of pickup. I booked this airport transfer on behalf of my parents, who are not the most technically savvy, and they were left stranded and stressed when the driver never came to pick them up. I was not with my parents in person, so I had to book an Uber to the airport for them at the last minute, while in transit myself, so that they could make their international flight home. I can be completely understanding and empathetic of any unforeseen circumstances on the driver's end that resulted in being unable to complete the pickup, life happens beyond our control sometimes -- but the complete lack of communication throughout (and even after, for some semblance of closure and understanding of what happened) was entirely unprofessional and completely unacceptable. This may or may not have been an isolated incident, but from what happened, it inspires zero confidence in the quality of this service. If you have any potential interest in booking an airport transfer through this service, please be wary. Make sure whoever is confirmed to pick you up actually responds, and hopefully, also actually shows up when they say they will. --- Sidenote -- Viator customer service was kind and helpful in reaching out to the driver (who couldn't respond to me, apparently) and letting us know the service was unable to be completed. A full refund was promptly provided. A sincere thank you to the Viator rep that assisted me with this.

We could not see your existing booking on the system on that day so we did not arrange car and driver for your parents. We usually share driver details and car details at least 1 day before the transfer. Our driver usually directly text clients to confirm pick-up date, time and location before the transfer as well. We do agree with your comment above that to avoid this case to happen, our potential clients should make sure that they receive responds from us. kindly regards,

Ken was waiting for us even though we were 15 minutes early and found our hotel with no problem. He was very nice!

Very friendly driver but the vehicle was small for 9 people. We had 8 large luggages and 8 small carry-on and we didn’t have space for them in the back. We were very crowded in the vehicle. Other than that, the messages to and from were very friendly. We were just given a small vehicle.
