As the employee stated at the Arc de Triomphe, “Ohhh, you got fooled by a bad website”. We paid for three priority access tickets to the rooftop of the Arc de Triomphe, which were supposed to get us in the priority access line. This was not the case, and we were sent regular tickets. We would not have paid so much for these tickets if we had known they were not priority access. We understood the difference between skip the line and priority, and yet were scammed nonetheless. We insisted upon a refund.

Eiffel at Night, but be Ready for Stairs.

Seeing the Eiffel Tower at night was lovely! I actually enjoyed the stairs too, which is probably an unpopular opinion. I didn’t like all the people though. That I could have done without.

Sunset in the middle of the Great Arch was stunning. We had a very short wait with the priority tickets. For others, the line was very long.

There was no Tour guy we signed up for the audio guide which you can go anytime during the day regardless of when you bought your ticket. Definitely a must see a little bit strenuous getting to the top, but there are two places to stop along the way and see displays

The stairs were no joke but, was not a problem. We were lucky the sky’s cleared and we had an excellent view of Paris below.

The self guided tour is excellent especially if you couple it with the 40 min recorded history. There are over 220 steps to the top but the views from the top are well worth the climb.

Purchased tickets with supposed audio guide and we were told to bring our own earphones….,audio guides are not available. That being said, staff at the Arc de Triomphe were very helpful.

Quick and easy to access. Use the links that they text or email you the day prior to your visit. We were able to skip the line and get right in. Once you pass the security scanner, you can walk right up. Wheelchair or handicap people can request elevator to the top.

The view was amazing! I enjoyed this view much more than the top of the Eiffel Tower. The skip the line tickets were well worth it.
Saves some time, but might be cheaper options

Definitely saved time in buying the tickets, but ended up waiting in a queue to climb up the stairs. It wasn't too long, but next time I might check if I can get the tickets online and just buy the tickets. If they don't sell them online, then I recommend this. Although it seemed a little pricey just for a ticket. Overall, it did save time and wasn't super expensive, so it worked out. The view was well worth it overall.

Although we arrived late, we are allowed in and bypassed the line. The views from the top of the Arc are incredible.

Working through Viator was a pleasant experience. The tour operator send the actual tickets just as promised. In fact, they sent copies both by email and WhatsApp just to be sure. The people at the Arc de Triomphe readily accepted the tickets on my phone. Because of my health issues I requested, and readily received, a ride in the elevator. The view from the top of the arch was absolutely spectacular, even with the misty rain that day. Because of the rain we chose not to get the included audio tour, so I can’t comment on that. But I can say buying the tickets this way saved a lot of time and it was worth every penny.

Arc de Triomphe climb

Arc de Triomphe is such an impressive and meaningful monument. The eternal flame underneath is very moving. Loved the climb up to the top and enjoyed the view to all the places in Paris that we had visited. It was worth pre-booking to avoid the queue and we were very lucky with the weather.

Was very surprised at how beautiful the views were from the top! It’s a remarkable monument and I highly recommend going. I got the skip the line ticket and it was a breeze getting in. Not sure if I needed them because the lines were not tremendously long when I went but it’s something you can’t predict. The audio guide was nice but not really helpful. Probably would appeal to someone who is a history buff. All in all a wonderful 2 hours spent gazing down and around all of Paris.
