Palais Garnier Tours and Tickets

12,635 reviews

Home to the Paris Opera, ballet performances, and the fictional Phantom of the Opera, the grand 19th-century Palais Garnier—also known as Opéra Garnier—recalls the splendor of France’s Second Empire, an era synonymous with elegance and extravagance. Beyond its opulent exterior and foyer, the 2,000-seat auditorium is a riot of red velvet, gold, and bronze, with a massive chandelier and a colorful ceiling painting by modernist master Marc Chagall.

Opera Garnier … Time Travel with Luliana
Our awesome guide, Luliana, took us back in time to admire and understand the architecture, design, and social norms of 1889 Paris. Tour was excellent. Opera Garnier is spectacular…one of the best tours of our trip. Don’t miss this tour and travel through time with Luliana.

The absolute best
For those that want to really experience the all of a beautiful historical site Maurizio went way over the top.! He not only describes in detail what you are observing and appreciating, but also delivers the history and secrets that most of us would never know. He must eat drink and sleep his subject. His presentation is very personal.

A Dream Experience!
The tour, in it’s entirety, was exceptional! Our private guide, Luliana, wove her vast knowledge of the venue with charming stories of the ‘parade society’ of Paris. Highly recommend the tour. It was on the top of my Paris bucket list and met every expectation I had. Thank you, Luliana🌻
