What To Expect

When booking, select the option that corresponds to your pickup location: a meeting spot in Perth, central Perth hotels, or Rockingham. If departing Perth, your tour starts with the coach drive to Rockingham, where you hop aboard your custom-built ‘dolphin swim’ boat that features a large platform for easy access in and out of the water.

Set off from the shore with the boat crew, who locates a pod of dolphins while you put on your provided wetsuit, snorkel, and mask. Then jump in the water and marvel at the dolphins who quickly surround you, ready to swim with you and show off their playful antics. While swim-with-dolphin opportunities can be found at many beach resorts in Australia and around the world, this tour provides a superior experience due to the staff, who has built a rapport with these beloved marine mammals. It’ll be the highlight of your time in Perth.

When you get out of the water, refuel with provided refreshments on the boat before returning to Rockingham, where your tour ends with the drive back to Perth.

I did not imagine that we would be that close to the dolphins. To have them swim right past us was thrilling and beautiful. The staff were wonderful. Helpful and caring. They were perfect. Thank you for a truly grand experience.

The whole day was an excellent experience, up there with the best days of my life. We were in and out of the water about 6 or 7 times mingling with the wild dolphins. The crew were exceptional, being knowledgeable about the dolphins as well as being super aware of water safety issues. I would recommend this trip for anyone.

Rushed and disappointing

Swimming with dolphins is something I’ve always wanted to do, but this experience was underwhelming. You’re in the water for such a short period of time due to not all the groups being able to be in at the same time. The tour is well organized and the staff great, but the actual experience was so quick and hard to appreciate due to all the rules and the rushing in and out of the water. I saw the dolphins for probably 20 seconds in total - amazing and beautiful but hard to even remember to be honest, sadly.

The Dolphin Tour proved to be an incredible experience, the staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful! ❤️ I attended as a spectator, but I found the spectator ticket price to be somewhat high compared to that for swimmers. The food was mediocre, with everything served cold—although, given the boat setting, my expectations were not too high. Despite these points, the overall experience was positive, and I would highly recommend it if you're seeking an opportunity to interact with wild dolphins.

It was the best trip ever! Nice crew, everything was perfectly prepared, the interaction with the dolphins was fabulous! They always had the dolphin's welfare at heart and you could see, that the dolphins came to them because they now and like being around them.

The crew were great, everything was explained clearly and they were really friendly and helpful. We saw more dolphins than I could have imagined but they do clearly set expectations about how long that may take (and may not happen at all). We got in and out the water multiple times and there was no pressure to go back in as it could be quite fast paced and tiring. Would definitely recommend this to anyone
