What To Expect

After early-morning pickup from your hotel in Phuket, transfer to the marina and ride a speedboat to reach Khai Island.

Watch the sun rise over the Andaman Sea and spend time on the white-sand beaches of Khai Island. Continue to Maya Bay—one of the filming locations for The Beach, a popular movie starring Leonardo DiCaprio.

Head to an island resort on Phi Phi Don for an included buffet lunch and then explore scenic spots, such as Viking Cave, Bamboo Island, and Monkey Beach. Along with sightseeing stops, you'll have ample leisure time for swimming and snorkeling in this tropical paradise.

The most incredible day on our whole trip. I recommend the photographer. Yellow was amazing. P was the best guide. So informative and friendly. The views are gorgeous I will never forget this day. We had booked the sunrise but was cancelled due to weather. I was messaging back and forth and they offered to switch us to the day cruise instead and refunded us the price difference. I’m so glad we got to spend the whole day island hopping. It was an absolute dream

The staff was excellent. Food was great. After every stop we were greeted back on the boat with beverages and light snacks and fresh fruit. The boat was super clean and it was great that it was a small group. Special touch when they had our personal items tidied and folded when we got back on also. Always keeping things in order.

A Great Experience!

This was really a great experience - private pick up and drop off to our hotel! Great team on board led by Ray from V marine tours! Good amount of time given at the various islands, and the highlight for me was the snorkling just off Phi Phi Don. The crowds are large so that’s pretty much unavoidable - but this boat has only about 12-15 people which is just fine. Some average snacks before the trip and the lunch was nit too bad, but other than that - a great experience!

Great trip, I’d recommend

I loved this trip. I don't recall noticing that there would be snorkelling at the time of booking but was pleasantly surprised that there was and the fish and coral I saw exceeded my expectations. The tour included a great lunch and although I have none, the crew were very conscientious in checking the guests for allergies and sending these on ahead. Additionally the drinks and snacks provided throughout the day were plentiful. The boat we were on was new and safe and the crew excellent. In general the time spent at each place was ideal and the only change I would have made is that we probably didn’t need an entire hour at maya beach. However I’m the kind of person that enjoys swimming and snorkelling as opposed to endless posing for instagram. As a person from a non-tipping country and never quite sure of the etiquette at the end of tours like this I thought the way the crew handled it by announcing there is a tip jar and then stepping back and allowing guests to contribute as the left the boat was a reassuring and tactful approach. This trip was great value for money and I would certainly recommend it.

Well organised trip and the tour guides was very knowledgeable and friendly. Wasn’t too big of a group so we seen a variety of the different islands and beaches, and managed a lot snorkelling. We opted for the extra tour photographer and was well worth it, just got the pictures now and they look very clean and professional, saves you having to worry about pictures all the time and you can just enjoy your day.

Recommend the sunrise trip

We did the sunrise trip and loved it! The 5am start was worth it for cooler temperatures and less crowded beaches. The boat crew was so helpful, especially as we got on and off the boat throughout the day. P was our guide and made the trip fun and informative!

Cruise Shore Excursion Not To Miss!! 🌴

Wow, what an amazing experience touring the Phi Phi islands with this company for our 1-day cruise stop in Phuket. The setting is unbelievable, a true paradise. Exactly as you see in photos without filters or photoshop! These beaches are surreal! The drive to and from pickup location is about 30 mins and the Phi Phi islands are about an hour to and from on the boat. Goodies was our guide and he was just amazing!! Probably my favorite tour guide EVER! The boat staff was also helpful and friendly. We had the photography package and were the only ones from our group so we had him all to ourselves and he was so friendly, took soooo many pictures and videos, even while snorkeling underwater! They kept us fed throughout the day. Snacks/drinks after snorkeling, very nice buffet lunch, and fresh fruit/drinks after each stop. Restaurant where lunch takes place has a full bar for alcoholic drinks; they take credit cards. For snorkeling they provide new sealed mouthpieces. Entrance fee can be paid with your company with credit card or cash. We were back to the transfer bus by 4:30pm and made it to cruise marina by 5:08pm with over 50 mins to spare before making it to the last tender boat to cruise ship at 6pm. Overall, 10/10 experience. This company definitely knows what they’re doing; so organized with a process for everything. Please bring cash (even in your currency) for tips, these guys work VERY HARD! For cruisers reference: Our ship was the Celebrity Millenium which docked at the Patong Pier. We had to meet the V. Marine team at the 7-11 store which was a 7 minute walk from tender boat drop off between 7:50am-8am…so if your cruise opens the tender ticket pickup onboard at 7am, be sure to be the first ones there. We were handed group 6 which for us meant we were getting on the 2nd tender boat to the pier — and we barely made it on time for pick up at the 7-11 @ 7:52am. Had an amazing day with my husband & kids aged 3 & 9. No waiting around & very slick organised set up. The tour guide was really knowledgeable & the other boat staff were fantastic. Would 100% recommend

Beautiful Chaos

Do not the Title fool you... This trip was amazing. The water was soooo blue. The sites are breath taking. The chaos comes from the amount of people at each site. When you arrive there are so many people getting ready for their tours. They offer snacks and what will happen at each site. The main rule is be on time. Bring a small bag with dry clothes/a towel/and slip on flip flops. Getting to the first site takes about 90 mins on the speed boat. the boat has water and snacks mainly fruit and little cakes/ Once to the first site it will busy. There will be lots of people there. Theres so swimming there. get to the shore get your pictures and walk around. There is a small snack bar there (cash only) the 2nd site is where you see the monkeys (hopefully) we saw some and got some pretty good pictures. 3rd was going for lunch on a different island. lunch was simple but tasty. After we went snorkeling and the 4th we went to another beach to hang out. Overall everything was great.

Cannot recommend this tour enough!!!

Choose a sunrise tour to beat the crowds at the beach. We got to see what’s literally like a child’s drawing of a sunrise!! Booked it an evening prior (fortunately wasn’t sold out!), and logistics were smooth as butter. On time pick up, big & comfortable transport, we even got a photographer who would have covered us during the entire duration of the tour (even underwater) for 50 USD only. Unfortunately, after sunrise and breakfast at Khai beach, our tour got cancelled because of bad weather conditions. Got the entire money back within 3 days in original source of payment. We insisted to pay partly for the pictures. Our guide Sunny (not Rainy, he said :)) was super sweet and entertaining (didn’t speak unnecessarily). Even the cancelled tour was one of the highlights of our trip!!

Phi Phi Island Tour Review

The team were fun and insightful about the island. The only only feedback I would give is that they should ask guests if they have snorkled before and give a quick tutorial on how to use the snorkel gear and warn them about the sea lice! Lunch was yummy and swimming after Maya Island is the best! So peaceful and a great way to end the tour.

Great boat tour! Amazing guides, modern boat and full amenities

Tour was great, our guide Sunny was so friendly, attentive, and made us all laugh and feel comfortable even if the sunrise tour starts super early. He really made the tour come to life, and even gave us some good clubbing spots in Patong afterwards. Maya beach is unavoidable but a shame because you can’t swim, however the early tour means that you beat the crowds. Lunch was a thai buffet provided at a beachfront hotel and there was plenty of time to rest afterwards. The boat was super modern, had a bathroom, and plenty of space. Waterproof phone cases, flippers, snorkelling gear and snacks (watermelon and pomelo, so good) were provided + water and soft drinks throughout the day. All in all a great tour, would recommend!

Sunrise - amazing less crowds

We did the sunrise tour, it is a very early start (we were picked up at 4:30 am from patong beach area) and we got back to the hotel around 3pm but absolutely worth it. Sunny our guide was very good, funny and informative, the tour felt very safe and well organised. The sunrise on the beach was definitely worth the early start, you also beat a lot of the crowds to the sight seeing spots which is an added bonus. All of the places you visit are beautiful and you see some amazing sights snorkelling. The food both breakfast and lunch was very tasty and good quality. There are also plenty of snacks and drinks on board the boat to keep everyone comfortable and happy. The only thing I would say about the tour is because you are crossing open sea it can be quite choppy and bumpy (absolutely nothing the crew can do to prevent this) but if you get easily motion sick it’s something to consider. Overall excellent tour 5/5 highly recommend to anyone considering!

Phi Phi Islands Excursion

Our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids ages 7-13) enjoyed this. The water was quite choppy so those who get motion sick easy should beware. They did have pills at check in that were available and we brought our own meds/wristbands. The "exclusive small group" is 20 people which I don't recall seeing anywhere in the description. Notably, since 10 was the max one could book, this was a surprise when we arrived. Most other boats leaving the marina seemed to have 25+ people. Each stop was quite crowded with other tourists from other boats which was to be expected but be aware. Talking a photo without lots of other people in it is not going to be easy. We were able to get off at Monkey Beach and take pictures and videos of the macaque monkeys, which we were told was exclusive to this tour group. The lunch was great and they easily accommodated dietary restrictions in our group (vegetarian and gluten free). Snorkeling was okay, but if you have snorkeled elsewhere with well developed reefs you'll likely not be impressed. Some members of the group saw red tipped reef sharks which was fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see some of the smaller islands off the coast of Thailand.
