Fabian was extremely knowledgeable and we learned so much. You get to see the entire life stage of a butterfly from caterpillars to chrysalis, butterfly to egg all around you! This special sanctuary has a wide variety of butterflies and the tour ended with each of us releasing a butterfly on its first flight! Ours were only 3 days old! Educational and memorable. Highly recommend!

An Absolutely Amazing Experience

The Butterfly Sanctuary is a little off of the beaten path, but it is 100% worth the trek. The guided tour provides educational/insightful information about each stage of the butterfly life cycle. If you get the opportunity to work with Fabian and/or Adrian, you will most certainly be in good hands. The tour ends with an incredible opportunity to release newly metamorphosized butterflies into the sanctuary! It was most definitely one of the highlights during my visit to Puerto Vallarta.

This a wonderful experience! It is one of three in Mexico. Great way to learn about native butterflies of Mexico and support an awesome project. Ran by six people who have a passion for these beautiful butterflies who are pollinators and so important for the health of our planet. Lovely experience. Don’t take the google maps shortest route. It’s easy to get lost!

A great place to learn about native butterflies and moths and their life cycles. My son loved it, especially when he got to release a butterfly. Make sure you have transportation figured out beforehand as there is very limited cell service in the area around the sanctuary.

Merci beaucoup pour le bon moment passer avec Dany. C'est une belle expérience d'environ une heure. Beaucoup de fleurs et de papillons. Une jeune entreprise qui débute 2019. Nous y avons été en taxi et notre chauffeur nous a attendu car c'est pas facile de trouver un taxis dans le coin.
