We had a fun night with Cesar and his crew! The seas were a little rough getting to Caletas. There was an open bar on the boat. Drinks weren’t that great unfortunately. Caletas is a beautiful spot and we had dinner right at the edge of the bay. The highlight of this tour is the show. Absolutely amazing performers. Felt like we were at Cirque de Soleiil. The boat trip back was fun too. Cesar and his crew out on an additional show. Would recommend this tour because the location is beautiful and the show is spectacular!

The boat ride over was so fun! David is an incredible entertainer! We loved the whole crew! Dinner was delicious and the show was amazing! The talent is unreal!

Nice show but quite chaotic

The show was awesome, but the instructions given after arriving to the port weren't clear. We got on a boat with about 200 people. They did not tell us our boat number which made it difficult to get to dinner after the show. I will give a quick run down so that you're not as lost and confused. When you get to the location where the port is you have to pay the port fee. Then go to the opposite side of the place to stand in line to checkin. After checkin you wait for them to call the number on your receipt. You get up go through the metal detectors and then you get on the boat. Boat ride is fine. Just crowded. Once we arrived and got off the boat it was kinda chaotic how they seat you. After the show they call you by boat. Make sure to ask before you leave the port or boat what your boat number is. They Then send you to one of the restaurants for dinner. Dinner is a buffet no matter where you go.

This experience was absolutely worth every penny. Before going into the review, note there is a port fee per person that needs to be paid before going to the Vallarta adventure office. It’s cash only. Now for the good part. The ferry ride over was about 45min maybe longer and had drinks flowing. The staff walked around with pitchers to refill drinks. They also had music playing and performed. So please do yourself the favor and sit on the bottom level of the boat. All the entertainment is seen there. Once arriving on the beach we headed to dinner and enjoyed a buffet. Followed by the show. Only negative was the benches we had to sit on during the show. I’m lucky to be short and just leaned against the high bench instead of sitting on it. Rhythms of the night was a beautifully performed show and had some great interactive moments with the MC and crowd. The entire event was great!

Great Way to Spend an Evening Being Fed and Entertained!

This activity was recommended to us by a travel blogger. We have booked activities with Adventures Vallarta in the past and have had good experiences. They are good at what they do. We booked Rhythms of the Night as a nice activity for something to do at night. We were staying in Nuevo Vallarta and purposely booked the marina port that was closer to where we were staying. The day of the activity, we were directed to check in at the marina closer to downtown Puerto Vallarta. This required a 40 minute drive instead of 10 minutes. That was the only thing we found wrong with this activity...otherwise, we would have given it 5 stars. I was annoyed by the longer and more stressful drive after having booked for a closer location. The boat takes you to Las Caletas. This is a beach facility that is operated by Adventures Vallarta. We have visited Las Caletas on another activity and it's a very nice facility. The boat ride was fine with lots of drinks and the staff is very entertaining on the trip over to the show. The dinner was buffet style and was very good. There was a wide selection of food and we were satisfied. It's not gourmet, but it was well prepared and tasted good. The show is excellent. We were very entertained and left feeling like we had gotten what we paid for. The staff even continued to feed us drinks and entertain everyone on the boat as we returned to the port. This is a great activity and I highly recommend it.

Phenomenal show, phenomenal setting

The food was amazing, the show was stellar, the boat crew's extra performance on the way was awesome!! Adored the island setting, the bathrooms, the actors stationed along the trail, perfect. My only complaint - I hurried for a beachfront table (tipped off by friends who recommended this) and the guy rudely said that was for VIP only. Ok. Then I watched so many people without VIP wristband seated there. Very disappointed that he was so rude, and that I was lied to. Almost ruined my night.

First of all, David was so entertatining; he successfully set the mood for me and my family. What a fun experience it was for us? David and his crew even prepared their own medley of karaoke singing with dancing to entertain us again during the ride back to the marina. Our server Norma was very attentive and sweet. The entire cast of the show just blew us away with their courage, skills, talents and sincerity. The live band certainly made the show come to life. The host was hilarious and simply very entertaining as well. The other participants were respectful and it felt like everyone just wanted everyone else to have a fun and memorable evening. I would definitely be recommending this dinner and show to friends and family.

A nice way to spend an evening

Overall a very enjoyable experience. 1. The boat ride out was very pleasant. It was a sunny day. The views of the mountains along the shoreline were beautiful. The drinks were free-flowing though there was certainly no pressure to drink anything. The crew were entertaining and friendly. 2. The Calietas were beautiful. A jungle maze with so many diverging paths and lounging/eating areas to explore. We only wish we had more time to explore and hang out in the hammocks and other shoreline areas. 3. Dinner was adequate. Not particularly amazing but not bad. Also, we didn't have that much time to eat and by the time we were ready for dessert, all of it was gone, so I'd recommend taking everything you want on the first trip. 4. The show was very enjoyable. We've seen similar shows before (both large-scale and local). Cirque du Soleil is the obvious comp but I think it might be a little unfair to compare this to literally the top circus performance act in the world. I thought these performers were very good and I appreciated that they included traditional Mexican style and culture to the show. My wife really enjoyed it and that mattered the most to me. 5. The ride back was surprisingly fun. Our particular crew put on a surprise lip-syncing show that was a hoot. Everyone aboard enjoyed themselves. Tip: In late March it gets chilly on the boat ride back. Check the weather forecast and bring a sweater or jacket.

Fun night of entertainment and dining!

Was a great experience for a family with young adults. Fun Circ de Soleil type show with a delicious dinner after. Very well coordinated to have a smaller casual dining experience. Recommend a light jacket for the boat ride. Also, get a seat in the lower level towards the front of the boat for the way back! Kids liked the dance floor and there was a bit of hilarious entertainment. The ride back was a highlight! As the crew said, “Fiesta not Siesta!”

The show was great, so talented the performers, I was surprised how organized it was! Bring a jacket for the boat ride out it gets a bit windy, but it is so much fun—even though we don’t drink the drinks were flowing and everyone had a great time. The food was superb!! I cannot rave about the food enough, and the fact that it was buffet style where we could have seconds and eat as much as we wanted made it worth every penny!

The boat ride to and fro, fun, fun, fun. The M.C., and the rest of the crew for that matter, are all super entertaining AND attentive to everyone's needs too! We can't say enough about them. When we arrived, at what we thought was Gilligan's Island (for those of you in our age range that remember that show), so lush and "primitive" feeling. We thought we had gone back in time. Dinner was quick and delicious with lots of choices at the buffet. And then for the pièce de résistance, the show, unbelievable. It's like Cirque Du Soleil in the jungle! Have a seat near the front on the far left for some up-close entertainment. Thanks everyone, Ursula, Bill, and Dennis This whole thing is so well organized it isn't funny, it ran like clockwork.
