An unexpected Taco where the 'stuffing' is actually outside of a crunchy tortilla topped with a mild tomato salsa and cabbage. 100% homemade.

Fresh tortillas made in front of you with Carne Asada (grilled steak) and cheese. Chose from an array of mild and hot salsas.

The most popular taco in the region. Try both presentations: soft tortilla taco + a crunchy taco. Taste and dip your tacos in Birria Consomé (broth).

Depending on the day try a Jalapeño Seafood Popper Taco and a Shrimp on the Grill Taco or a Mahi Mahi Stick Taco and Smoked Marlin Tostada.

More Than Just Tacos

Amazing delicious food tasting at local taco stands & restaurants in local neighborhoods in the Romantica area. We tasted a variety of tacos & salsas. This tour was about the food of Mexico & how it evolved to what it is today. Star, our guide, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic & loved sharing the best of Mexico. Can’t wait to do the afternoon tour next time we’re here.

Wonderful experience! It was great to have this tour with a local owned company. All the food was delicious and it was a LOT of food. The leather working store (shoes, belts, etc) was fun to visit and the tile store was amazing too. Don't miss this one

What an amazing experience! We had such a wonderful time touring the romantic zone with Cha Cha. She literally knows everyone in the area and took us to some of the best little, family-owned food stands in PV. The fish tacos at the end were incredible! Highly recommend this must do tour while in PV. Thanks Cha Cha for all the information and the incredible experience!

Star (Estrella) did a fantastic job squiring us around the city and showing off Puerto Vallarta talent and tastes. We learned history, culinary arts, taco secrets and all about spices and specialties. Don't miss this tour---3 hours of walking, talking, enjoying fresh juices and understanding so much about PV life and history. Fun and filling!

Went jetlagged on the morning tour my first day in Mexico + PV and very happy I did. Would highly recommend if you are keen to try the local taco stands while you’re here. You will learn how all the ins and outs of eating / ordering / picking the right places. Star was a great host. Very engaging and informative.

If you only do one tour in Puerto Vallarta do this tour. Our guide was awesome she took time to explain everything even cost of the tacos, and quesadillas. Another thing do the food tour first, then you will know where to go and how to find the food you want.

Spot on! Starr taught us all about the history of, types of, and how to eat and order tacos. Who knew there were so many types of peppers!? She told us to always test the salsas before adding to your taco. Delicious!!

Such Passion

Our guide, Star, was bright, energetic, and so very passionate about local, fresh, and quality food. We went to some street vendors and sampled carnitas and quesadillas. Some family owned and operated locales have been in the family for 2 generations and more. The food was great! This was a walking and eating tour, but Star paced us the whole way. Fun, fun, fun. Highly recommend.
