Went on this tour with my friend and we both agree it's been the highlight of our trip. Sergio was the best driver and tour guide. The ride was enjoyable, and the waterfall at the end was beautiful. The salsa making and lunch were outstanding. Such a beautiful ranch and amazing experience. I'm recommending this to everyone I know who comes to PV in the future!

This was such a wonderful experience! We have a 10 & 6 year old. Both ride their own horse. Our guide was amazing! Horses were tame and the ride was easy they follow each other. It is rocky and you go through a few streams. Lots to see and loves the falls! The meal was excellent - we learned so much.

Hello, driver was waiting for you at the pick up point, then i texted you, and you said you fell asleep, i offered you reschedule, you said yes and then you didn't wanted to. You blocked my phone number and then you asked for a refund. It wasn't our fault that you didn't wake up at time.

Our horse guide, shuttle/all around guide was so good as well as the staff at the ranch. Our ride to the falls was very relaxing and the scenery was amazing. The food was excellent as well. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful scenery, horses, waterfall, and great food

We loved this tour! We got picked up at a place super close to our hotel. The van ride was pretty long, maybe about an hour. The ranch was nice with friendly dogs. Once we all got on our horses we rode them for about 45 minutes through a creek bed with beautiful scenery. The horses are very docile and well trained, even someone with zero experience would be fine on them. When we reached the end of the trail we got off our horses and hiked to the waterfall. There is no bridge anymore and the hike is decently difficult with a lot of stairs and incline. We didn’t spend much time at the waterfall so I wouldn’t recommend bothering with bringing or wearing a swimsuit. The water was super cold. The waterfall was absolutely gorgeous. We then rode the horses back to the ranch. I put on bug spray but it was unnecessary because there wasn’t any bugs. When we got back to the ranch we made our own delicious salsa to eat with tortilla chips as an appetizer. Margaritas, beer, pop, and tequila straight from the barrel were offered. We got to watch as the chef made homemade tortillas. The main course was carne asada, chicken, rice, beans, fresh tortillas, and some kind of pastry type thing with cheese and chorizo. The food was DELICIOUS. Overall you cannot beat the views, you spend a lot of time on the horses, and the food is delicious. The ONLY thing about this tour I didn’t LOVE was the guide/driver asked over and over for tips and was a little aggressive about it.

This was a great experience for us, a family with two school aged children. The horseback riding was long enough to be an adventure without being toooo long. The lunch was delicious with hand made tortillas that we got to watch them make. Everyone was very friendly, and my kids had a blast. They have declared that this was the best excursion of our trip.

The experience was one of the best cruise excursions we have ever done. The guides were great, the horses were well taken care of and well trained. We felt very safe even as beginners. The ranch was absolutely beautiful!! And the food was delicious. The hike at the end was quite a climb! But the waterfall was full and flowing for us! Would definitely recommend.

This was a fantastic trip! Service was great from beginning to end! The waterfall that we encountered was a pleasant surprise during the horseback ride. The short hike to the waterfall was worth it. The vegetarian lunch was Superb! Our kids had fun making salsa! This was truly an Indiana Jones adventure and worth every penny!

This was a great excursion! We rode horses for about an hour and then did a short hike to a waterfall, great for photos and a quick swim. Then rode the horses about an hour back. We then made fresh salsa and tortillas and we're served a delicious lunch before being shuttled back to the pick up location. It was a perfect day!

Horse riding and waterfall hime

Overall a fun trip. Horses were very easy to ride and mostly just followed the leader along the rocky trail along side and through the river. Stopped at the top and hiked up to the waterfall which was fantastic to cool off in. It’s a short but steep trail so bring shoes. OK lunch including making our own salsa. Photo option not worth it if you have your own camera

Hurricane Linda horseback riding

We had such a great time riding through the jungle the day of the hurricane. Our tour guide was so kind and attentive and made the whole experience so memorable. On the way back to puerto he was kind enough to drop us off at the store so we could stock up on groceries and supplies for that nights incoming class 4 hurricane. Next time we are in town we will definitely make another plan to do horseback riding. The lunch provided was delicious. The margaritas and tequila shots were a perfect ending to the experience. Highly recommend this experience!!!!
