What To Expect

Board your luxurious vessel at Marina Vallarta and begin your serene and stylish sail to Banderas Bay. Take advantage of the open bar and select from fine wines and refreshing soft drinks during your idyllic voyage. Feast upon premium cheeses as the setting sun begins to emblazon the horizon with shades of fiery gold and soft pink.

We had a wonderful time with Captain Carlos and crew! Food and drinks were delicious and the crew was so helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend for a fun relaxing evening in Puerto Vallarta.

Not good if you are pregnant.

Was a beautiful view and trip, however I am pregnant and would not recommend it if you’re pregnant. The non alcoholic drinks on board were limited as was the food I was able to eat (had a selection of cheeses and meats, but that’s a no go for me) The mobility aspect was also challenging as it was hard to balance to walk to the front of the boat / I wasn’t comfortable sitting about 20 min in. It’s a longer cruise so that made it difficult. However, if I was not pregnant it probably would have been fine. Something to consider if you’re looking for activities to do in PV

Well worth it! My family had a wonderful time! Very well organized, friendly and lots of drinks! The food was good and we got to see a lot of dolphins swimming along the boat as we were going back the dock.

Tour cancelled but positive response from Viator

Unfortunately we were unable to do the sailing due to mechanical difficulties. The tour was cancelled while we were in route to the meeting point. They did their best to contact us, however we had already arrived in town. I am impressed with the way Viator responded quickly with refund notification. This will have a positive effect on future travel with Viator.

The Viator subcontractor Vallarta Adventures provided a friendly, enjoyable, delicious sail for us. Good was really great. Staff were helpful, friendly, and funny. We even got to see many dolphins! A great trip!

When we take the cruise, there was heavy rain. They let me take off my shoes, my feet and socks were all wet. My head, body All get wet. The heavy rain took away my pleasure from this trip. The food and drink they provided is really good .

Buyer (and older not so flexible) beware

Buyer beware! This is probably not for older people or people with mobility issues. I wrecked my knee while on vacation. When I checked the site for more information on the cruise I found a review from a woman who alerted people to the fact that this is a sailboat and not a catamaran. It has no real seating, just cushions placed about, so you either sit on cushions for 3 hours or stand at the railing. Apparently they also make you remove your shoes. After reading this I called because I’m having issues getting off the ground because of my knee. They verified this to be true, although he did say there was a seat back by the captain but if there were several older people chances are I would not get it. Anyway, we opted not to take the cruise because my husband also has a bad back. We could get no refund because we did not cancel 24 hours in advance. The cruise itself may be very nice but the people at Vallarta Adventures were not very accommodating for my predicament so for that they get 1 star. Viator said I could get a refund if I presented a doctor note after I got home but Vallarta Adventures said no refund because it was not within 24 hours.

Sunsets, Whales and Dolphins, oh my!

By far the favorite outing of our trip. The crew was absolutely attentive and fun to be around. We lucked out by seeing a momma whale and her baby frolicking in the water while dozens of dolphins swam around . We were treated to one of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve ever seen. Food was great and our glasses were never empty. Special shout out to Captain Sergio and bartender Yoni (Johnny).
