Great experience!

Amazing experience! I went on a solo trip to the DR, this was my first excursion. My time was at 11:30, and I was the only one. We did about a 2 hour ride and it was amazing. My guide was super nice. On the way back, I asked if we could go a bit faster, and he did. It was my first time riding, so it was a great first time experience.

The horses were very calm! It began to downpour during our walk, we even saw lightning and heard thunder but the horses remained calm and we continued our journey.

Amazing trip with very well trained horses. Took off a star because a big chunk of our time was wasted ride sharing with other riders driving from hotel to hotel and getting moved from cab to cab on the side of busy highways which made us feel a little uneasy. Seems common for them, we just weren’t expecting it so felt awkward. Once we got there the ride was great! Beautiful not busy part of the beach and gorgeous wide open views. The guides were so kind and helpful, willing to take photos and pull us to the side of the group to do a little running etc. They were excellent and knew their animals very well. Would be very fun to do with a larger group as my husband and I went with people we did not know and our horses clearly had no real interest in being near each other so we caught up at the end-no fault of anyone, animals do what they do but created some interesting encounters when your horse wants to ride on top of the stranger next to you, lol. We would do it again 100 times, no real complaints just feedback for other guests. Enjoy!!

Great ride with well trained horses (no experience needed). Great scenery; calm & relaxing. Delicious coconut water mid ride stop. Guide were friendly & attentive to riders. HIGHLY recommend for stay in DR. Sidenote: We as citizens of this world must get littering undercontrol in & around our oceans. The amount of mess that washes up on beaches just distracts from the natural beauty.

Driver never showed up

We were looking forward to this excursion however after waiting an hour for the driver the showed up I requested cancellation. I was called my the operator and the my apologized said there was an accident and he was in route. They tried to make it right, offered a later time or private tour but at that point we changed and decided to stay pool/beach side. I wish they would’ve reached out when they knew they would be late rather than only when I reached out. Looking forward to this in the future.

Such a fun experience. The horses were so sweet and well trained. The guide took time to stop and take GREAT photos for us. It was nice that it was just myself and my boyfriend and the guide.

This was a magnificent experience 😍 Nice horses and riding on the beach, which you can’t just get anywhere! I did this on my own but there was another girl from a different hotel. It was fun and safe. Fausto was very nice and helpful with taking pictures too. There was a small glitch with pickup time but it was not at fault of driver. I didn’t get notification the day before about confirmation of pickup time from the company. Other than that, it was all good.

I enjoyed horseback riding on the beach. There is a portion where you ride behind the buildings and some construction going, which wasn’t very scenic but the beach portion was beautiful. My guide’s name was Friendly, and he was great!

The driver was an hour late picking me up BUT I had a such a fun time that I almost forgot all about that. I got to go on a private tour since no one else had signed up. The views were gorgeous and authentic. I’d definitely do it again.

Great experience. Picked us up at our resort in cap Cana. The horses seemed happy and well cared for. We thought it was beautiful and we got some incredible photos. Only drawbacks are that it was almost an hour from our resort in cap Cana, and the saddles are slightly uncomfortable. The shopping that we did at the local shops there was some of the least pushy and most affordable shopping that we did our entire trip in the Dominican Republic. Would recommend.

Family fun with great views

Another trip highlight. You start at a beachfront ranch with local vendors. We had a small group of only 5. It was ideal. We mounted up and the guides are very good about taking pictures. There’s a lovely ride down the beach line for about 2 miles until you get to the river. Locals are fishing and you can buy a fresh coconut water. After giving the horses a break, it’s a different route back through the foliage and more areas of the beach. Lots of photo ops. Back to the ranch where ice cold water is waiting and the chance to buy local goods and a nice surprise souvenir. Guides were personable and so nice!
