Your Milford Sound helicopter flight provides access to some of New Zealand’s most secluded natural wonders. An expert pilot takes you sightseeing into the heart of the UNESCO-listed Fiordland with unrivaled aerial views of the lush rainforest, bush-lined valleys and crevasse-filled glaciers between Queenstown and Milford Sound.
Start your helicopter tour with hotel pickup before taking to the skies on a 1.5-hour scenic ride. En route, listen to the pilot’s informative commentary about the stunning landscape below. Upon reaching your destination, you’ll hover above iconic Mitre Peak before landing at Milford Sound.
When it’s time again for take-off, marvel at up-close views of the famous fiord’s towering peaks and sparkling waterways. Then fly over the crevasse-filled Tukuko Glacier, landing here or in Otago's Glacier Basin, before your return flight to Queenstown where you’re transferred to your hotel.

We came here on our honeymoon and flew with Jono. He is an incredible pilot with tons of recommendations and history given. I was scared to death and he was very comforting and reassuring. My husband was 0% scared and had the time of his life. We landed on a glacier and had the most unreal views. We also landed in the snow by a little lake runoff which was the passengers choice Jono said we could do snow or views and we chose snow. Couldn't have had a better time what an amazing way to see the country!!!!

The best part of our trip in Queenstown! The staff was all amazing and our pilot Pete was just wonderful, insightful and made us all feel safe in spite of the windy conditions.

This was one of the best helicopter tours I have ever done. I have done plenty of them but this one had the best views. Second landing looking to Wakatipu lake was just amazing.

This trip was amazing - I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to do something extra special and visit some unforgettable locations you can only reach in this way. We didn’t feel rushed at either of the two spots and the guide was safety conscious, informative and friendly. We had been looking forward to this for a long time and it didn’t disappoint. I particularly appreciated the company calling us the day before we were schedule to travel and offering to move us forward to make sure we got the best possible weather and minimized the chance of cancellation.

I’ve always loved helicopters so this was a fantastic experience! The views from up top were great and the landings in Milford Sound were stunning. Pete was a fantastic pilot as well and has great knowledge of the area. Definitely an experience well worth the money.

wonderful scenery to and from Milford Sound, but that was it! We did NOT fly over any part of Milford sound - just landed there, let two people off and flew back ot Queenstown!!

My wife and I thought the flight was brilliant and would love to do it again. It made a super holiday even better! The only negative was the uncertainty of the flight due to lack of numbers. The flight time was changed three times and only confirmed about an hour beforehand.
