Pickup details

The central Queenstown pickup location is the Marmolada Cafe on Camp Street. We pick up from a range of different accommodations and bus stops. If we do not pick up directly at your hotel, we will advise the closest pick-up location. After you book you will receive a message from our team to reconfirm your pick-up location and time. Please be at your pick-up location 10 minutes prior to the departure time provided. Your guides will wait up to 5 minutes after the time, and those that are late and miss their departure will not be entitled to a refund.

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund.

The wine sampler tour is absolutely a must do. We had a great experience traveling around the valley, and then the wine is of course amazing. Would highly recommend it as not only a way to see the city and surrounding areas, but also to learn about the history and culture.

We had an incredible time on this tour, possibly one of the best we’ve attended in terms of how smoothly everything ran and how comfortable our guide made us feel. Our guide Alana made sure the group came together quickly in the beginning, breaking any ice and setting us up for a really fun day. The wines were beautiful and servings generous so I really felt like we got our monies worth. An incredible day all around!

Our tour guide,Alana, was wonderful. She was extremely knowledgeable. The whole tour was well organized and on time. She expertly weaved her way through Queenstown traffic. We really enjoyed how she pointed out local sights and, when asked, gave recommendations for dining and other tours. The 4 wineries all were interesting and provided 4-5 generous pours of New Zealand South Island wines. We particularly liked the Wild Irishman wine!

Do, the host and guide, as well as the wine were fabulous. The New Zealand wines featured were all excellent and certainly a revelation. Joe was very chatty and connected with all of the fan load of guests, and by her example and encouragement we all got to know each other and have a good time together. Memorable!!

I absolutely loved our first stop at Gibbston valley. Our tour guide was so full of information and really tailored our wine tasting to each of our very different palates whilst giving us such great insite into all the differences and she was also hilarious and full of energy which really piped us up and got us excited. The other stops weren’t as great but still getting some info and checking out the sites along the way. Our bus driver lily was also super amazing and great at giving us info on all things wine and others to do in the area. She was such a delight, really painted the picture for the day for us and even let us have full control of the playlist on the drive home which I’m not sure was such a great decision because we went a little wild with the choices 😂 Would recommend if wanting to find something new to try or just to learn some new things about wine to make you seem smart and fancy next time you order wine at the restaurant. And you don’t have to drink it if you don’t like it.

In our tour we had Allie and Holly who were wonderful. Allie explained along the way which wineries we were going to and what type of grapes was the valley known for. We tried 20+ Wines, pinot blanc and pinot noir and even sparkling wine. All the staff in all wineries were very welcoming and the prices were accessible too to bring home a few bottles. The 4 vineyards were very good my favourite being rockburn for pinot noir and kingross for their pinot blanc. I definitely had a nice time!

Great day visiting 4 wineries, knowledgable staff and driver, good food and awesome people you get to know along the way. Easy communication and pick up and drop off at/close to your accomodation as you'd most likely do not want to drive after this wine tour! Lots of fun, laughs and beautiful wine in a beautiful region known for its Pinot Noir

Gibston Valley winery was our favourite 😍 the host was awesome and very funny, the wine was gorgeous! The whole day was incredibly fun, our host Lilly was wonderful, funny and very knowledgeable about the wineries and area! Lilly made our day so special, thanks Lilly! We made some great friends and the pizzas at Kinross were Delicious 😋
