Contact one of our seasoned travel specialists to customize your experience for a seamless start to your tour. We'll arrange a convenient pick-up location and time, allowing you to focus on creating unforgettable memories in the heart of the Amazon. Your transfer from Quito will be with a Spanish-speaking driver. Once at the lodge, our guide (fluent in English and Spanish) will lead the tour. If you prefer to start the tour from another city in Ecuador, please inform us, and we'll provide a tailored quote.

What To Expect

Start your 3-day Amazon Jungle tour with pickup from your Quito hotel and a scenic drive to the Amazon, taking in the various landscapes.

Upon arrival at the jungle lodge in Napo, enjoy a custom-designed itinerary led by experienced native guides fluent in English and Spanish. The first day features treks through the lush rain forest, river tubing in the refreshing waters, and a mesmerizing night walk to witness nocturnal animals.

The second day involves a boat excursion along the Napo River and visits to an animal refuge center, Anaconda Island, and an indigenous community. Learn about local cultivation practices, medicinal plants, and traditional hunting methods. The day concludes with a ceramics and crafts demonstration.

On the final day, engage in a chocolate tour to discover the origins of cacao and its transformation into chocolate. Visit Monkey's River Beach in Misahualli, home to playful monkeys, and explore Tena City before concluding the tour. Note: this tour does not return to Quito.

Life changing

One of the best trips I have ever been on. I have traveled all over the world, but I don’t think anything comes close to these 3 days in the Amazon. Absolutely life changing. Carlos and Bryan were amazing guides and visiting the indigenous village was something I will never forget. These were 3 days that I will always cherish.

3 day amazon with Carlos

We spent 3 days in the Amazon forest with the most amazing guide. Carlos took 4 of us tubing down a river, through the forest and some amazing walks teaching us about the plants and the night animals. We also visited local residents and enjoyed learning about their culture. This trip was a once in a lifetime for us and Carlos did not disappoint with all his knowledge and friendship. Our driver was prompt and spoke good English, he was really informative on the way. We loved the food, plenty of it. Everything was very clean. The guides were very helpful, the pace perfect, all activities really interesting. We thought it was great value for money and really enjoyed our time there, in fact we stayed an extra night and just hung out by the pool and relaxed. We booked a driver to take us back to Quito, again he was very helpful and spoke English, we even stopped off at the Hot Pools for a few hours on the way.

Exciting trip to the Amazon.

Our guide Brian was so knowledgeable. He showed us medicinal trees, plants and how the indigenous people hunt, eat and all about their culture. Went on a an exciting night hike and saw many interesting species. Food was great and staff was very helpful. Loved watching the Caiman’s and monkeys!! I highly recommend this Lodge and tour!!

Everything you'd want in a 3 day Amazon experience

So much more than I expected, we were looked after extremely well. The transfer from Quito with Alberto was wonderful, he was helpful, educational and friendly. The staff at Suchi were so pleasant and hard working, and the room ... well, the photos don't do it justice. Loved the private balcony in the lodge and right off the balcony there is the jungle and all the sounds it has to offer to lull you to sleep. Our guide Brayan was exceptional!!!! He is worth his weight in gold. So knowledgeable and friendly. We really had personalized service and he made us feel welcome in his world. So much to do to keep busy. Could not recommend this trip enough. P.S bring a quality rain poncho, it's the Rainforest

A great first jungle experience

My teenage son and I LOVED this adventure. First, every person we worked with was kind and helpful. Second, the property is in the jungle near nothing else. It is gorgeous with a pool, a bar, and places to relax in between activities. The food is good and we really enjoyed every activity they provided. We are definitely returning to the Ecuadorian jungle! We added transportation from the resort to Pampallacta then to Quito and that worked great, too. Carlos was our guide for most things on and off property and he taught us so much and took great care of us. Truly an unforgettable trip.

Beautiful lodge and...

Beautiful lodge and friendly and conscientious staff. However, this trip was advertised with a few stops on route from Quito to the lodge, including caves, hot springs, monkey beach, waterfall as an example. The driver kindly pointed out these places but his English was poor and I was not given the opportunity to stop and visit. So the ,10 stops' advertised is very misleading. Plus the tubing was not available

Worth the time and money!

This was a GREAT experience! We ended our Galapagos adventure with this tour and NO regrets! We are world travelers and this was another wonderful addition to our world travel stories! The winding roads from Quito into the Amazon can cause some nausea if you are prone to motion sickness. The Lodge is beautiful. The food is great! The staff and guides are just perfect! Learning how chocolate is made was so fun! Rafting and trekking through the jungle and night hikes were sooo fun! Definitely do this if you want a quick trek into the Amazon basin!

Carlos was an excellent and attentive guide. He is very knowledgeable and excited about the Ecuador amazon and its people. Animals, culture and customs. Con's long drive from Quito each way. Lots of rain every day. 1 day is very busy and then lots of downtown 2nd day. Food at hotel is fair.

The Mystical Rainforest

We stayed at Suchiparki Jungle Lodge and had a wonderful time. Lot's of hiking, swimming, tubing and enjoying the beauty of the Amazon. The lodge is nestled 8 km off the road in the rainforest and is a perfect place to escape the noise of the world and listen to the rain. The staff and guide took care of everything and made our stay memorable. We would highly recommend this trip.

A great experience but poor communication

The river boat ride and walks into the rainforest were amazing. The guides were helpful and shared their knowledge but few spoke clear English, although we specified that we did not speak Spanish. We papcked as much in to our three days as was possible! Communication before the trip was very poor - we only had the confirmation that we would be picked up at 5am next morning late the night before. Phone numbers provided didn't work or were not answered.

Wir haben durch Zufall die beste Suite bekommen. Die war mega schön, quasi in den Baumwipfeln gelegen. Unser Guide Brian war super und sehr unterhaltsam. Die Aktivitäten selbst natürlich recht touristisch, alles in allem aber wirklich schön. p.s.: Genug Bargeld mitnehmen. Die Lodge schlägt bei Kreditkarte 6,5% drauf. Bei den zahlreichen Zusatzangeboten (Aktivitäten, Massagen, Drinks etc.) kann da schnell was zusammenkommen.

楽しい３日間でした。昼過ぎの到着後、森の散歩とチュービング（これが面白い）、２日目は電動カヌーに乗って動物保護施設やインディヘナコミュニティを訪れいろいろな体験ができました。チョコレート作りやナイトウォークなども有り、盛り沢山でも無理なく楽しむことができました。シニア料金が設定されているのも嬉しかったです。キトからロッジまでの往復のトランスファーについては時間の確認など改善の余地があると感じました。ガイドさんやロッジのスタッフもとても親切で心地よい時間が過ごせ、心に残る素敵な３日間でした。
