This was such a great day and our tour guide was phenomenal. There was ample time at every stop (with stunning views) and we would definitely do this again. Just make sure all of your clothing is appropriately waterproofed! (Our tour definitely saved us with extra jackets).

Save Your Money and Go With Another Company

This is my second time doing this tour (I came to Iceland in 2021 and loved it). This last time, the tour guide didn’t actually get out and visit the places with us. The tour didn’t have adequate equipment for everyone on the tour. And our driver seemed very disinterested in being there. We had our own car and I wish I had saved the money and just driven to the locations myself.

What an amazing day. This is a MUST DO tour while in Iceland. We ended up with a small group of 5 on an absolutely perfect weather day. Our tour guide was on point. We had all the best parking spots, learned a lot, and made it to our next destination quickly. Even though we had zero clouds, make sure you wear your waterproof hiking gear. You will get wet. Waterfalls are all breathtaking. Take the walk under the first one and go behind the next. You’ll dry off. Glacier hike - WOW. Best part of the day. You have to experience it. Viking House - get the duck. I’m a duck snob and I’ll tell you that was one the best duck dishes I’ve had.

The tour company appears to be a little disorganized but our guide was awesome and took care of what the tour company did not. Also, my husband had to go to the emergency room and his heroic effort and caring attitude makes him the best guide in all of Reykjavík!
Not a tour bus

VW van; not a tour bus. Windows not defrosting. Tour guide didn’t have mic. There were 6 of us. Those in back couldn’t hear. Heat fan too noisy. Guide tried everything but equipment substandard. Guide performed heroically finding hospital emergency room for ill passenger in Selfos. Farm dinner was not as advertised. Soup and pay for the rest but guide intervened and made sure we were not charged extra. Disastrous planning.

What a great trip! Our guide Kristin was great. Knowledgeable and had a terrific personality. A long day but extremely entertaining and a good way to get to see the real Iceland in a short time. The Viking dinner should not be missed. However, stay away from the "fermented" shark! We were warned and still tasting it 3 days later! Need more "Black Death" to wash it down!

We had a great guide called Sonja, a very good conversationalist and story teller. She kept us immersed in her backgrounders and kept us entertained. We missed having her on our other tours, though we had good guides each day
