Nice walk through Reykjavik
David_H, May 2024
Nice walking route. Took his time to explain everything. And also took us inside every so often to warm up.
Terrible. Buyer beware!
Maria_F, May 2024
They insisted on holding this walking tour in pouring rain, freezing, and windy weather. Refund rejected. Buyer beware
SUPERB walking tour of Reykjavik
MariaElena_D, May 2024
What a SUPERB walking tour of the city of Reykjavik. Our tourist guide Stefan was absolutely wonderful. He was very knowledgeable with Iceland’s history and provided humor and mirth all throughout the tour. This is a MUST while in Reykjavik.
A must experience in Iceland
Michelle_P, May 2024
The tour was amazing! We learned everything from history to some amazing recommendations for some restaurants! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the tour a great time.
Horrible. Awful guide
Andrew_M, May 2024
The guide was terrible. He sang songs and covered little of Reykjavík. Learned nothing. The tour was not worth it.
Worst tour I ever booked in viator
Mylene_A, May 2024
Waited for an hour in the cold and the tour guide never showed up. Called the viator and was told that something came up and the guide could not make it. It would have been nice if we get a call or email that the tour is cancelled rather than waiting in the cold. It's a very terrible experience.
Perfect first day activity
Kristen_B, Apr 2024
Perfect first day activity for a week in Reykjavik. My boyfriend and I had a great time on our walking tour and it was extremely helpful in getting to know the city.

Tour guide was excellent and knowledgeable. Many highlights and much history. Timing was precise. Only 2 hours.
Quick Intro worth its time and money
Sim_B, Apr 2024
Narration about Iceland, Reykjavik history, myths, trolls, hidden people and elves. Learned about places to visit at leisure, restaurants to try and more
Insightful and Interesting Walking Tour!
Maria_R, Mar 2024
Loved our walking tour. I signed up at the last minute on my first day as I was battling jet lag and met up with some new friends from our tour group. Our guide was insightful, funny and caring. He made sure that we made some stops along the way so that we could be warm. The way he told Iceland’s history was very memorable, my friends and I found ourselves referring back to everything we learned on this walking tour to our friends on our official tour. Would definitely recommend booking this tour on your first couple of days in Iceland.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept the group engaged with interesting facts and personnel experiences.
Great Experience.
Anika_M, Mar 2024
Oli was awesome. He was very knowledgable and relaxed. I feel very confident that we can also navigate Reykjavik on are own now.
Recommended!

It was just okay. Skip the tour and do a self guided or the free one for the same info. Guide didn’t really let us stop for photos which was a bummer.
Funny, interesting and enjoyable
cheryl_c, Mar 2024
Really enjoyed this, the tour guide was informative, funny and really interesting we learned a lot about Icelandic history and about NEVER to annoy an Elf!
Great tour, prepare for unpredictable weather
JennyT, Mar 2024
Our guide Bo was very knowledgeable and had a lot of great history and facts to share about downtown Reykjavik. Reykjavik is a very walker friendly city in general, but do remember to dress in warm layers and don't forget about your face! It was a rainy, windy day during the tour and my face was freezing.
Quite disappointing
Elizabeth_C, Mar 2024
The guide was very friendly and obviously knew a great deal about Reykjavík. However, we were somewhat underwhelmed as too much time was spent regaling the group with his personal stories rather than concentrating on the monuments. Also, there was no need to focus on every cat we came across, even including them in the photos!
Expected more informaiton
lema_g, Mar 2024
The designated spot address was not clear, our guide waited for us in the park across the street and not at the listed address. The guide tried hard, was friendly and tried to make some jokes at times, but confused dates and centuries, and the whole tour felt incomplete. At the end he sang the song and it felt awkward - he clearly is not a singer.
Excellent walking tour with Einar, the Viking.
janetmargaretjohnson, Mar 2024
We were a small group of six which made our walking tour with Einar even more special. His enthusiasm was wonderful plus his attention to detail. We learnt so much about Reykjavík during our 2 hours. We even had the added bonus of Einar singing to us in the cathedral. Highly recommend this tour.
