Book this NOW --omg!

Dani was amazing. We came off of a cruise and he met our party of 8 in a mini bus. The fact that he stayed with us in Roatan the entire time was fantastic. There were zero worries and he accommodated us perfectly. I literally couldn't have imagined the experience we would have prior to doing it. When we jumped in the water (ages 69 down to 5) each of us were STUNNED. The reef was breathtaking and Dani's demeanor is like you are out with a friend who is taking care of everything effortlessly. I would recommend this excursion to EVERYONE... which is not something I easily throw around. My 7 year old was blabbing his head off at lunch and Dani was just part of the family, lol. We are more secluded people, but I honestly hope our paths cross again. Absolutely book this experience!!!! Thank you so much again, Dani!! This day was *the best* part of our entire vacation.
Awesome guide and hands down best snorkelling since doing the Great Barrier Reef!

Dani was great!! We highly recommend this company over using the cruise lines! They showed us a very personal experience
Beautiful

Our snorkeling tour was amazing! The directions to find them were helpful and they were very easy to spot just about a 5-minute walk off the ship. Our tour guide gave us so much information about his life on the island. The snorkeling was unlike anything I've ever seen before. It was a. lot of swimming so I don't recommend it if you have trouble swimming.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Hi Neeka! Thank you so much for your valuable feedback and comments. We really appreciate it. It makes me very happy to hear that you enjoyed it! By the way, we tailor/personalize each tour according to the groups abilities and desires, so if they don’t want to swim at all, they don’t have to. Believe it or not, we do non-swimmers and first time snorkelers all the time! That’s actually one of the beauties of Roatan’s reef, it has something for everyone! Thank you again for your booking and we hope that you can come visit us soon!
Best Cruise Excursion!
Kim_P, Mar 2024
Amazing family excursion! We saw all the top snorkeling spots and had our own personal guide to take us through the best spots on the reef and he pointed out turtles, eagle rays etc. Showed us the best places for lunch after and the food was fantastic! Even got a personal tour of the chocolate factory to end the day. Highly recommend this company and the tour guide was awesome!
Blue Channel for the WIN
Alexandra_E, Mar 2024
Let me start by saying our guide Andres did a fantastic job. He spotted and pointed out so many different sea life I would’ve missed. I had issues with my personal mask and he provided me a great one to use. We saw two turtles at turtle crossing. The blue channel was the best snorkeling I’ve done so far in my lifetime. We saw an eagle ray, parrot fish, barracuda, lobster…it goes on and on. Being so close to the reef was amazing. The aquarium was a great end, some fish even greeted us at the boat and followed us around. The whole thing was fantastic! Highly recommend.
Great snorkeling tour and guide

Dani was a terrific guide who met us up where the independent companies meet. A native Honduran with impeccable English. Dani and Pana did a great job on our snorkel tours. Pana used my phone and took some great video. The waters were perfectly clear and we saw some amazing things. Dani had to take another couple back to the ship but recommended a few local restaurants for lunch and it was delicious, then when he returned, he walked us down to a great recycle gift shop! We would definitely use Dani again!!
Amazing!

We booked a tour with Roatan Tour Guide Association via Viator. I originally had a tour booked with another company, and then I came across RTGA’s snorkel tour, and the reviews made me book. I messaged both companies to get a better understanding of their tour and Dani’s response was quick and very thorough. He answered all my questions and then some. I immediately canceled the other tour I had booked, and I am so glad I did. I would consider ourselves a bit more of a high-maintenance group, as we had high winds we had to deal with before porting, and upon arrival, it was raining. Because of this, I was communicating with more than I had anticipated as there were concerns about us not being able to snorkel. Dani was never annoyed with our questions and concerns and was always kind and patient. He helped us organize alternative plans in the event the conditions didn’t allow us to snorkel. In the end, we were able to complete the snorkel tour and it was absolutely beautiful. We did the two-location snorkel tour for a group of 4, and we had the boat to ourselves. He was a great guide for the snorkel tour, and we felt very safe with him. We did have some members of our group who were only able to complete one location, as they were pretty tired after the first stop. But they still had a great time hanging out in the boat and enjoying the view while the rest of the group snorkeled at the second location. We had a great lunch and visited a few shops following the snorkeling. You can tell Dani is passionate about what he does and is very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this company for any of your Roatan adventures!
Great snorkeling experience
Miranda_M, Jan 2024
I booked a last minute snorkel trip with Dani and I wasn’t disappointed. The booking process was easy and he contacted me promptly to set up a meeting place and time. He took me to two different spots where we got to see lots of cool fish, and even a turtle and a stingray. Dani was a great guide, knowledgeable and professional and very kind. I definitely enjoyed my time out on the water. Thanks Dani!
Nice Trip

The drive to West end was great driving along the coast. Our guide Patrice, was very nice and informative. Snorkeling was good, the current and waves were pretty choppy so it made for a more challenging day. We didn’t get to the third snorkeling spot, wound up walking around town instead shopping and grabbing a bite to eat.
Response from Host, Mar 2024
Hi Lisa, thank you for your review. Sadly, you came on a day where the ocean was stirred up and choppy after all the rainy days we'd been having. Therefore, one of the spots which is on the ocean side of the reef (open sea side), was not reachable and due to safety reasons we couldn't take you there. However, the other two spots were still awesome according to our other snorkel group that day and your guide, Patrice. Just FYI, Patrice also spent double the amount of time we normally spend per spot at the second spot. Instead of 30 minutes, you did 1 hour at the second spot in order to make up for the third spot that you were going to miss. He also mentioned that he explained this to you, but he must've not repeated enough or made it clear. Maybe somewhere you or him got lost in translation. We also offered you shopping and lunch time as a way to compensate for the weather and of course, for you to enjoy more of our lovely island. I know Patrice always goes the extra mile, he's an excellent person and guide. Again, I'm sorry about the bad weather and if you ever come back, please reach out to us and we'll be sure to give you a good discount to make it up in some way.
Highly recommended, best snorkeling experience ever.

Blue channel is the best place for snorkeling, period. It was like swimming in a fish tank. Big boat can't go there, only private trip/small boat could bring people in that location. Highly recommended.
Amazing day snorkeling in Roatan
David_B, Dec 2023
Arranging the tour was very easy and Dan, the owner reached out with detailed instructions the day before as well as his contact information if I had any questions. When we got off the ship our guide Patrice was there with a sign as referenced in the email. He took us to the first location where we had some time to use the bathrooms and get some chocolate samples at the chocolate factory. We then met our captain Eric for an amazing trip to spots on the reef. It was just the three of us Patrice, our guy, and Eric, the captain. Much better than any kind of tour we could have arranged on the ship. After our snorkeling Patrice took us for a walk around town and back to the chocolate factory where we bought some chocolate to take home. All in all, I highly recommend this tour.
The snorkeling was great....

The snorkeling was great. All 3 spots we amazing. The guide was great. A great excursion when visiting Roaton
Nice snorkeling trip

We were on a private tour. The guide was very accommodating. Made a stop for us to buy some coffee. He took us to two sites. We saw a lot of fish and even a large lobster.
The best way to see Roatan
Cheryl_S, Nov 2023
Even though our ship was an hour late getting in, Patrice was right where we were told he would be. We had a personalized snorkel tour, both guide and boat captain wear very patient and fun. Following our snorkel we toured the eclectic West end. We were never made to feel rushed ,yet we made it back to the ship with time to spare. Excellent crew!
Great service and experience, would book again
Steven_R, Sep 2023
Great overall experience, our tour guide was very nice and took us to an authentic food spot afterwards at no additional cost. You do have to walk past many people that will try to sell you food or taxi service when finding the guide initally, just keep walking and follow the exit signs (which eventually turn into 'downtown exit' signs). When in doubt, keep walking and you'll come to a road where you'll see the guide. We booked all three spots but were quite tired out after doing two. I would bear that in mind, if you're ready to swim for about 1h30 (using life jackets it's not too strenuous) then definitely book all three but two would have been fine for my girlfriend and I. We are not super adventurous people and don't love a huge crowd so the privacy of the tour was a game changer.
Great Private Group Snorkel Tour
msibbettcomcastnet, Sep 2023
We had 12 adult friends and this tour offered a private group experience. Dani was great at communicating pick up location and had great local knowledge of not only snorkeling places, but of fun, shops and places to eat in the west end.
