It was our first trip to Roatan and we're staying at a dive resort. Wanted to venture out and explore more of the island. Our guide, Shanna, was amazing! Her knowledge of the island and culture was incredible. She’s incredibly personable and immediately put us at ease. Highly recommend this tour and Shanna for your next trip to Roatan.

Shanda was an amazing guide. This was a fabulous day with animals, chocolate, rum and some time on the beach. She was very knowledgeable, helpful, and an amazing addition for our day in Roatan. We can't wait to go back.

Great guide ok tour

Our guide Neal did a great job of showing us the Roatan. He was informative, friendly and knew his area. The first place you go is this sloth and monkey habitat like a zoo. You get to hold the animals but there are a bunch of people here at the same time. I guess I felt bad for the animals held by tons of people all day. The chocolate experience was a disappointment and the staff there are just going through the paces. Very little excitement about their job. The chocolate was good but in the heat it doesn’t last long. We Went to a beach which had empty chairs but none for us which were included we thought. The water was nice there. But very rustic accommodations.

We had a great trip. We had a toddler so had a car seat and stroller. The car had plenty of room and we got everything hooked up easily. This excursion was by far the smoothest and most relaxing of our cruise.

Very enjoyable tour to see monkeys and sloth. They can be held and are very tame, even with young children. Our tour guide JB, who was born on Roatan, was informative and most accommodating. Expect the initial 15 minutes to be chaotic due to Honduran traffic congestion.

Sloths and monkeys steal the show! Very well organized and professional. Our guide Renni was excellent. Short walk to see the monkeys, sloths, and birds with lots of individual time with each! Chocolate “store” was crowded but interesting. Rum store was delicious with great views. Beach time was at a public beach with chairs provided. We had a great time and highly recommend.

This was truly a 5 Star experience. Our tour guide, Reny, was top notch. We were shuttled in a private car to the chocolate and rum factories; got to hold and pet the sloths, monkeys and birds; and ended our day on the beach where we enjoyed beautiful sand, waters, cocktails and food.

Communication with the local team was great. We had a really fun day seeing the sloths, monkeys, birds, the chocolate factory, and shopping. Couldn’t ask for more during our short stay at this beautiful stop on our cruise.

Pedro did a good job on driving us to different places including the small zoo, chocolate factory, Rum cake store and a the beach. He was friendly and always with us during the trip. He tried to show us the town. However, he doesn’t speak English which makes our communication a little hard. We had chance to touch the sloth which was very nice. For the beach, I believe only the entrance is included in the cost. No other facility was included so the description needs to be updated. We ended up paying $30 for two beach chairs for 1 hr. With the what I paid, I would expect more activities included in the beach.

The entire tour was awesome. From the sloths to the beach, the stops at the rum and chocolate factory was the cherry on top. Our driver Neil was so friendly and accommodating. The owner Luis was so easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Roatan Rocks

Our guide took us to a "zoo" where we were able to handle the animals. Monkeys would jump on you - gently - and play with your hair or hat. A sloth, very laid back and apparently sleeps a lot, but didn't mind being held, would give you the best "hug". Parrots would sit on your hand or shoulder. Very fun!! The chocolate factory was interesting with lots of samples to try. Then off to the beach we went. Had a couple of drinks in coconut shells and jerk chicken. They had swings in the water for playing on. All very relaxing and fun. Dave was a great host!

Dingo was a very good tour guide. We loved this experience and highly recommend it to everyone. It is customizable for whatever we wanted to do. We went to the chocolate factory, the rum factory, the monkey and sloth preserve. We drove through West End just to see it, and stopped at a resort in West Bay to spend time at the beach. Make sure you bring extra cash for West Bay because there is a restaurant with a Bar, opportunities for snorkeling to the reef and glass bottom boat, massages on the beach, and many people selling their wares. You do need to walk 10 minutes outside of the gate at the start of the tour. Dingo was there holding a sign with my name on it. And he was able to return us inside near the ship, to drop us off. You can stay as long as you want at the beach and we ended our tour with a picture at the Roatan sign. Loved it!!!
