Please note that these tickets are nominative for each participant and it will not be possible to change the name after the purchase. In case of mismatch with the identity document, access to the Colosseum will not be allowed and no refund will be issued.

  • In case of late arrival, no show or cancellation beyond the limits indicated in the cancellation policy by the customer, a refund is not foreseen.
  • PLEASE NOTE: All participant names are required at the time of booking in order to enter the Colosseum. If we do not receive the full customers names, the booking won’t be confirmed. Every customer (adult / children) is required to carry a valid ID that matches the full name on the ticket, or the entry will be refused. Name changes and cancellations are not permitted once the booking is confirmed.
  • Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

A Great Tour with a Great Guide

I had Yonut as a tour guide and he was very passionate and knowledgeable! I really enjoyed getting to hear about the architecture itself and the many civilizations it has endured. Yonut also answered my questions and allowed time to stop for pictures wherever I wanted and let the tourist guide the pace to an extent. Highly recommend!

Hilaria conducted an excellent and informative tour in crowded conditions and found the perfect spots for viewing and photography. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were wonderful, and made the history of the Colosseum and Forum come alive. She had obvious passion for her subject. Highly recommended!

They changed the scheduled time whenever they want

They decided to abruptly move our original scheduled time to the afternoon. When we arrived at the meeting point, 30 minutes before our original time as per their instructions, a not too friendly woman told us that our tour had been moved for a later time and we had to come back later. We had no other choice but adjust to their change. Obviously, by this change, our plans, that were carefully planned one month in advance, disrupted everything else for the day. Fortunately, we had not scheduled any other tours for that afternoon, otherwise we would have had to choose. The tour was done by someone a little bit in a rush, but overall it was informative.

Hello, Alexis! First of all, yes, the tour was delayed because a last-minute unpredictable change. Organisational problems may occur sometimes and this is perfectly normal. We gave you the option to do the tour or a full refund and you AGREED to do the tour.

Organization is locking. Send us message day before that tour is not available anymore. Offered next day (saturday) 2pm tour. Saturday is a weekend so many people. 2pm mid day very hot but we had no choise so we did a tour. tour is 2 hrs, we had a flight in the evening. at 4 pm only half of tour was done because it started 40 min late. In the middle of the tour person from tour agency (very stressed and anoyed) came and colected head phones from all of us and microphone from the gide so we can not hair him anymore.The website says small group. Is 24 people small group?They should refund half of tour price to us!

Hello! First of all, you were explained the situation and YOU AGREED to do the tour the next day, you were not forced. We offered you a full refund or a tour the next day. You had a choice! Also, yes, 24 is a small group, if you read the details you will see that our small group tour can accommodate up to 29 people.

I did this tour with my two girls aged 13 and 11. The colosseum was packed which made it difficult. The guide walked ahead and didn’t wait to check that everyone was following him. I had read that in other reviews so I was prepared and made sure to keep up with the pace. I think if the guide held an object of some kind in the air it would have helped. The tour of the colosseum itself was good in terms of the information shared by the guide and he was knowledgeable. There was nearly no information about the Forum or Palatine Hill. The guide was not animated or friendly.

Tour scheduled for 10:30 am. Received email afternoon day before to rescheduled to 11am for our group of 6. Said OK. Tour started at 11:30 am. In hind sight it gets way to busy in the area by 11:30 to go. Our tour guide spoke hard to understand English which made it much less exciting. Very scripted chant and understood half of it. Go to the Colusium, take a better tour, and go early. After 10 or 11am it's a zoo.

Well, it was hot, there were close to 50 people in our group which was supposed to be a “small group tour” our guide didn’t speak the best English and honestly, didn’t seem to be extremely knowledgeable. Because the group was so big, she spent most of the time asking if we could hear her, and I want to show you this or that. It just dragged. Half the group Left before the end of the tour.

The tour was good and our tour guide was brilliant. Place was easy to find, not too big a group. The tour guide was brilliant inside the colosseum, but we had to hand our radios back prior to entry into the Forum and Palatine hill so were not given any guide for these. This was dissappointing as it was included in the tour

He was terrible and the worst part is he was making us run to finish his tour as fast as he can so that he attends one more and some of us tried to stop him and he said he doesn’t care about that all he does is walk and we need to catch up with him

Amir was very knowledgeable and made the visit more interesting. It was very busy, but we were not rushed, and there was such a lot to see. We visited various sites during our stay in Rome, and would recommend guided tours as they add a dimension to the visit. It was good to be able to skip the queue, and Amir was able to answer questions from the other guests.

Disappointing. The company combined 2 tour groups which made it difficult to follow the guide. Guide was knowledgeable but more interested in explanations rather than showing the aspects of the coliseum. Forum and palatine hill were okay, but again, somewhat more of a lecture than an engaging tour

Booked 2 hr tour of Colloseum, Forum & Palletene. After 2 hrs we had only done Colleseum. Had to leave after only 1/3 of tour. Guide was inexperienced and hard to understand. Sorry but not a great experience.

Très mauvaise expérience. Le guide de Italie love Tour n’a pas attendu notre groupe à l’entrée et a débuté la visite sans nous. Nous avons dû compléter la visite par nous même. Demande de remboursement sans réponse. Bad experience. The guide from Italy love Tour didn’t wait for us to complete the entrance procedures at the beginning. Never tried after to reach us. Demand of reimbursement not answered and no follow up.

Hello, unfortunately, upon checking your booking, you were late and the group already left without you. As mentioned on your vouchers, the meeting time is 30 minutes before the start time.

I believed I was purchasing a guide for the 3 sites for approx 2.5 hrs.. After we finished a rushed Colosseum tour (1 hr) he left us to find our own way. From the start, he rushed ahead and didn’t looked back for his group. We had to race thru other groups to find him. We had faulty equipment and he couldn’t care., He was also dressed inappropriately as his shorts hung below his navel and exposed more than we cared to see. I paid $385 for a full guided tour (4 adults/1 child). I could have paid HALF that for just a Colessuem tour. I then read reviews and found many of the same complaint. Viator’s response to those who complained about their tours were very rude and condescending. I was most grateful I had used another tour group for other areas. This was our 1st use of Viator and perhaps our last. Be careful what you paying for and what you actually get. Save your package description for your defense.
