This tour has a very tight itinerary and the distances in the cities are great. From Rome to Pisa there is a 4h ride and the same back from Florence. We do not recommend it for people with mobility problems. The pace of the visit is demanding.
Please note, this tour travels between the cities by bus, and you will be on this bus for several hours. Specifically the journey from Rome to Pisa lasts approximately 4 hours, and the same for the return to Rome from Florence
You will enjoy Pisa and Florence at your own pace, but you can always count on your tour leader for any doubt or requirement.
In Florence, Amigo Tours will grant you access to a professionally made audio guide of the city using the app Clio Muse only if you have selected the option. We do not offer the audioguide in Pisa, only in Florence. Instructions follow on your voucher
To download the audio guide on the bus, you will need an internet conection.
It is recommended to bring headphones for a better experience.

I feel awful as I should have asked for the spelling of names. I believe the drivers name was Merco, he did an excellent job safely driving us to our destinations. I know the tour guides name is probably not anywhere remotely close, Ardell? I’m so sorry, but he was amazing and made some excellent suggestions and recommendations of places to visit and eat. Extremely disappointing

This tour guide was terrible. Did not offer any information about locations. Bus parked so far away from attractions and guide took off at a rapid pace with several people who walked with canes and left them behind to find their own way. As a solo traveler I did not feel comfortable exploring Florence on my own at dusk, especially after guide told us someone was robbed last week. Trip back to Rome took 3 hours and 40 minutes with NO stop for restrooms- this was cruel and inhumane.

This was a wonderful tour of this is what you were expecting. It is basically an unguided tour of the streets of Pisa (about 50 minds) and Florence (slightly more than 2 hrs) with transportation and commentary on the way (a total of about 9 hrs), with one pit stop at a fantastic place for chocolate and wine sampling (half an hour). The commentary was by a knowledgeable guide, the description of what to do in the two cities was very good. The problem is that without prior bookings, it is impossible to get tickets and enter any exhibits. So, this tour is not for those amongst us that are not streetwalkers :-) or are unable to endure a whole day trip with an external view of a leaning tower and a look at a David replica ...

It’s a long day tour and hot if going in the summer. The only thing really worth seeing is Pisa which is much smaller than one would think. The local vendors are great though. I don’t necessarily feel that the trip was worth the money however if you’re looking for something to do that takes up a bunch of time, then this is great.

Beautiful place to visit! it was a treat for my Mum and enjoyed it. Our tour guide Alda was a fantastic lady with so much to learn from her. One thing that she made my Mum's visit and another lady who had walking problems comfortably and tried her best to contact transport so they don't need to walk much.

Waste of time, effort, and energy. Do not do this tour!

Waste of money and time. The trip from Rome to Pisa is 6 hours and they only let us stay in Pisa for 20 minutes to take a photo. We then drove to Florence from Pisa and we only stayed there for an hour. We travelled a total of 13 hours the whole day and they only gave us 20 mins in Pisa and 1 hour Florence. We ended up running all the time, we do not even have time to eat. Do not do this tour. It’s not worth it.

Meeting time was at 6:45am….. the tour guide arrived at 7:10am… people were nervous that this was going to be a now. The bus was late. We were to leave at 7am. So we are now 35 minutes behind. The guide or company never communicated with anyone of what’s going on. The guide was really a person that told us where to meet after wandering around Pisa & Florence. In Pisa we had a whole 45 minutes to explore. In Florence the guide handed out a map of where to meet after wandering around this beautiful city. However no time to really explore the beauty.

The leaning tower of Pisa is amazing. Florence square has a nice water fountain and a nice older church. The water fountain has lots of sculptures which represent the art of the era they were made.

Worst tour ever

This is not a tour, merely a transportation service. The tour administrator as she calls herself, was clueless and wouldn't provide any useful information, just keep threatening us that if we arrive late at the meeting point, she will leave us!!! The worst part is that if u consider the amount of time that was allocated to the attractions, 50 minutes in Pisa, And 50 minutes in Florence, which is absurd considering the number of attractions to visit, compared to 14 hours the total duration of the tour, so mainly the time was spent on the bus along with some meaningless stops that cost us a lot of time just to have some snack and use the toilet. What we learned also during tour is that the bus was not allowed near the center of Florence or pisa, so we had to walk around 20 minutes back and forth at both locations, I think the train would have been a better option. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this tour to anyone, u will end up exhausted after a full day of sitting on the bus.
