  • Children must be minimum 5 yrs old. Only if they are taller than 150 cm they can seat also behind the driver, otherwise they have to seat in the sidecar with the seatbelt on.
  • Sidecar can hold up to 110 kg / 242 pounds ,and maximum height is 1,90 m
  • Maximun weight for riding on the back of the saddle is 118 kg / 260 pounds.
  • Customers who have booked 1 seat only, will share the vehicle with another guest because each Vespa can accommodate 2 persons, one in the sidecar and the other one behind the driver (with the possibility of swapping seats during stops so that everyone can sit in the sidecar)
  • For reservations with an odd number of participants, the passenger accepts to alternate the seat in the sidecar with that behind the driver at any stop.
  • Not permitted for pregnant travelers
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 12 travelers

Cancellation Policy

You can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund.

  • For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
  • If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
  • Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
  • Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.
  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

Wonderful morning in Rome with Lucca

We had one day to spend in Rome and wanted to see and do as much as possible. This was a wonderful way to spend our morning (4 hours) with Lucca, our guide. It is fun to zip around in the sidecar (my husband mainly rode behind the guide on the Vespa) and experience driving in Italian traffic. Very safe and the Lucca knew all the right places to stop and take incredible pictures and the constant history in our ears via headphones was enlightening. One of the highlights of our trip! Also stopped for coffee and croissant at an amazing small shop which was included. Don't hesitate to sign up for this incredible trip!

This was one of the best 'tours' that we have ever taken! Manuel was our driver and lead the pack. I believe that the guide's name was Alessio. The breakfast cornetto and cappuccino was a nice touch. We had great descriptions of the areas that we were riding through and the sites that we visited. Leaving early morning was a good idea. Traffic was not too heavy. It was a little cool when we rode and the guys had blankets and hot water bottles for the folks in the sidecar. A very caring touch that went above and beyond expectations. This tour is well worth the money.

Absolutely wonderful tour - Alessio is a knowledgable tour guide and Manuel, our driver, was safe and extremely courteous. He even took a ton of photos for us - very memorable. This was a really fun and unique way to see Rome and learn more about its history. If you've been to Rome before, this is a perfect way to refresh yourself. Do it! It's worth every penny.

This tour was amazing and well worth it. They took us all around the best parts of Rome and we even stopped for a quick breakfast. They took us inside the Pantheon and explained the history. This tour saved my husband and I a lot of time and money. And allowed us to learn great things along the way. Seven made taking pictures easier.

Excellent Tour!! Matteo was fantastic, very knowledgeable and a great laugh... didn't want the Tour to end, being in and on the sidecar was great, people waving and taking photos! We saw all the sights and more, if your in Rome definitely do this Tour, 1000 rimes better than the bus tours by far! Even though it rained the first part it didn't dampen the mood, we looked great in our blue waterproofs lol... Nice coffee and pastries too by the Pantheon. We were the only sidecar out and the only one we saw during our stay, can't emphasise how good it was 5*+ Thanks Matteo 👍🏻

Couldn’t have asked for a better tour! Being on the Vespas and being able to see all of the key sites whilst so much knowledge being shared with us. Coffee and croissant stop was lovely, and lots of photos throughout the tour. Mateo was so knowledge and Davide was a great driver and photographer! Highly recommend to go on this tour!

We would highly recommend the Vespa Sidecar Tour of Rome! We are a family of 4 with two boys ages 12 and 10. We all absolutely loved it!! This was the only tour we booked in Rome and we got to see all the sights.

This is a must do activity in Rome! It was a very fun way to see Rome, including the Trevi Fountain, Janiculum Hill Cannon, Colosseum, and more! We had ample time to stop and take pictures at each landmark. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, sharing history and information through headsets as we were driven all over the city. The breakfast stop was perfect. I wouldn't change a thing and highly recommend!

BOOK NOW! Don't think twice. This was one of the BEST tours we did in Rome! The 9 AM tour is great because the streets aren't too busy yet. What a great way to see Rome. I would do this tour first to get a great overview of the city. Stopped several times and four times got off the bikes to take pics! AMAZING!!

This tour was the most fun and enjoyable that my husband and I did while in Rome. We were in a group with other couples and we each Vespa and sidecar was a different colour. We were taken to many of the major sites and also through the back lanes where the real Rome is. Our tour guide was fabulous with a great sense of knowledge with a touch of humour. Being in the sidecar of the Vespa and then also riding as the pillion passenger was exciting. People on the streets were excited also to see all the Vespas riding together and were taking photos as well. This is a tour not to be missed, we would have done it again had we known how great it was.
