    Crowded Vatican tour.

    Facility much too crowded! Too many tours all at once. Very very warm. Couldn’t hear well. Artwork obscured by bodies of crowds. Just a mass of disorganized bodies. BUT despite all that, tour guide was excellent, patient and knowledgeable.

    Awful experience, buyer beware

    We arrived on time, by 315. Tour had left already. No contact with us until too late and awful customer service. Customer service won’t refund our money since the tour occurred. Just not with us. Will never use Viator again.

    Frederika was really knowledgeable, interesting and personable. We were there in a heatwave, and she kept checking to make sure we were all doing okay. Wish we had more time with all the maps. That was my favorite part. Since it was a late tour, we had to hurry. The tour company though changed our tour time so that it overlapped another tour we had scheduled with them. They rescheduled this one but that meant we were not able to see St. Peter’s. Summary our guide Frederika was great. Be careful with times with this company.

    The guide was very good. The lines were very long. The tour was good, but there were way too many different rooms to view before getting to the Sistine - some very interesting and worth seeing, others were not - in my opinion. Overall, good tour.
