No memorable experiences as the tour was booked on wrong day with no option to correct the mistake despite being within 24 hours of booking. Exceptions were not considered to apply their profit earned toward another tour on the date needed. VIATOR and Boujour tours customer service lacks empathy and common sense solutions to problem resolution.

I strongly recommend this tour. The tour was well organized. The tour guide spoke fluent English and was well versed in the history and architecture of the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and St Peter’s Basilica. She had a sense of humor and answered everyone’s questions. This is a must do tour.

Disappointing experience of a beautiful site.

Our memory is that our guide gave us way too much explanation and interpretation before we even started, the crowds were so large it was hard to keep up with our group. There were way too many people and it was impossible to stay with an group, and too much disrespect for the setting.

Tour guide was good, although difficult to understand her accent at times. The Vatican museum was so crowded that we had to just walk past all of the artifacts without stopping to look. Not the guide’s fault but disappointing.

Guide and exhibits were fantastic. However tour was not on time and ran quite late, so we were denied access to BOTH the Basillica AND the Raphael rooms. We felt like we paid for something we did not get. Viator needs to pay more attention to Vatican closing times when booking night tours. Vatican staff were quite rude. Even for Catholics.

This is just a scam if you are not taking the guided tour. Visit to Basilica is free of cost for everyone to visit and they just give you the tickets to the museum. The tickets can be purchased on the spot at a cheaper price and you dont have to wait to get the tickets from them. You can directly purchase from the counter which is easily available. Because we were unformed that Basilica was free, we didnt visit it before the museum thinking it requires the ticket and it was closed by the time we finished the museum and thus we missed it. This was very unfortunate.

The tour guides gave us the tickets and after getting into museum, they dumped us and left. The whole group were confused. We were basically left alone, there was no guidance whatsoever.

Very bad experiance!!, the agent a young guy, help the grup to cross the street enter the museum give us the ticket and say good bye to all the grup!! He did not guide of any kind, web had to do the tour by our selfs. Very bad service!! Do not hire them.

We where late by 5 mins because the location wasn't clear, and we are clearly not from rome. all we wanted was ticket to get inside, they did not even try to reschedule us or refund us the money .. better off buying the tickets online in the vatican official website.. very disappointed stay away

Nothing was explained about the tour, we were left at the entrance to fend for ourselves after the guide got us in and disappeared without saying anything, no other participants knew what was happening and we had to ask a guard about it. However it is a great way to skip very long lines, but next time the American tour guide should actually tell us what’s happening.

This tour is a scam. I am disappointed with Viator and Trip advisor. We paid AU$ 218 for a guided tour of Vatican Museums but we were told by the guide that its only fast track tickets. We were were in a queue to get it to Vatican for about 10 mins and once were in we were given the tickets and the guide showed us the entrance to museum. I demand my money back.
