We had such a fun time at Edelweiss Cooking School in Salzburg. Excellent instructor, amazing food, and we were even treated to an opera singer during dinner. A great way to kick off our stay in Austria!

This was a lot of fun and the food was great. The cooking instruction was excellent and the entertainment superb. I really appreciate the last minute accommodation for gluten and dairy free, last minute for one in our party. Well worth the time!

Wonderful instructor! Two assistants were great too. Very instructive and friendly and encouraging. She accommodated a gluten sensitive person as well. Highly recommend! Especially fun and entertaining on my birthday. And full of surprises at the end!

Wee were led on a culinary feast of Salzburg favorites. I wasn't excited about making dumplings. But while the streudel and pretzels were great, the dumplings were my favorite! I'll be honest, my pretzel didn't look all that great because of my roll out form...but it was delicious. We walked off our calories by heading to the Chain Bridge. An unforgettable experience.

Awesome cooking class and delicious meal (if we do say so ourselves), terrific ambiance and fun, interactive entertainment! As a plus, the room was cool despite hot temperatures outside. We loved it!

This was the best thing we did in Salzburg! The team at the cooking school were so warm and welcoming, the food was excellent and the singing was incredible.

Great cooking demo and hands on. Timing was good. Did not feel rushed and plenty to eat. Room was a bit cramped. I know that history said beverages were not included but I feel that one non alcoholic beverage should have been complimentary especially as there was a meal involved. At $180 this was a very expensive 3 hours. Yes it was fun but overpriced. And to use the term concert was very misleading. The concert consisted of one man with a small speaker singing opera to us. He sang 4 pieces for a total of about 15 minutes. Not really what I would call a concert. He was good enough but wanted to engage us to sing along and dance to a sound of music song. No one wanted to do It was awkward.

We love to take cooking classes when we travel but this one was the most unique ever. The chef is laid back and makes you feel the same as he explains how to make pretzels, dumplings and apple strudel. These are easy-to-make recipes that you can then repeat at home. But, what makes this experience so unique is the Mozart arias and Sound of Music performance that you get to enjoy while you eat what you cook. A great evening and highly recommended.

FUN it was a great class-- Ended up being a private class for just myself, husband and son- Learned how to make pretzels , dumplings and strudel-- We really enjoyed it and the hostess was super friendly and sweet!

La scuola è comoda con il centro di Salisburgo e con un parcheggio di fronte. L’ambiente è carino e lo chef simpatico. A differenza di molte esperienze simili già fatte, alla fine abbiamo degustato solo ciò che abbiamo preparato durante il corso senza nessun piatto speciale preparato dallo chef (cosa invece molto usuale). Inoltre è stato chiesto il pagamento dei bicchieri di vino che durante l’esperienza abbiamo bevuto e che non era stato specificato all’inizio che erano esclusi e da pagare in contanti. Tutti i compagni di corso sono rimasti sorpresi. Per il prezzo pagato e la qualità del cibo degustato potevano essere inclusi.
