Salzburg is wonderful with Heidi.
Ahmed_M, Apr 2024
Heidi was excellent. She made the tour amazing. She made us became obsessed and in love with Salzburg. Heidi was knowledgeable, resourceful, kind, nice, and fun! We covered a big section of the city in a short time. I highly recommend the tour and Heidi in particular. Worth every dollar.
Highly recommended tour!

We had a wonderful experience on our Salzburg Old Town Highlights tour. Our guide, Maroine, was delightful, extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our three young children. He was aware of my daughter’s love for The Sound of Music and took every opportunity to point out filming locations and take pictures of our family at those locations. Maroine had an answer for each of our questions and provided many interesting details about the city’s history, architecture and notable figures. He also provided a number of extremely helpful recommendations for the best souvenir and chocolate shops, cafes and restaurants where we could experience the most authentic Austrian cuisine. I felt like we covered a lot in just a couple of hours yet didn’t feel rushed at all. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide, Maroine!
Gallant guide

Informative and fun

This short walking tour was perfect to get a layout of Salzburg and the history of the city. Our guide was very informative and super fun. She answered many questions and took us to sites that we had an interest in.
Tour not to miss
Beth_H, Oct 2023
We loved the amazing knowledge of the area, history of the country and passion for architecture. Having just 4 hours together was almost nit enough! Such a wonderful gentle personality that made sure we were happy with all aspects of the walk
Lots to see & experience.
Simon_C, Oct 2023
Walking around the Old Town area below the fort. So many interesting points to see & discuss. The St Peter’s cemetery and securing a dinner booking from walking into the St Peter’s Restaurant were very special.
A Good Overview of Salzburg
Richard_A, Oct 2023
This was a very good tour. Our guide, Igor, was both knowledgeable and personable, and provided us a fine overview of Salzburg. We especially enjoyed Mirabell Gardens, San Sebastián and St. Peter's Cemeteries, and Kollegienkirche, all with excellent historical context. This tour is highly recommended.
Excellent tour

Heidi was an outstanding guide! She gave us an excellent tour, full of history, anecdotes, insights, all sprinkled with a touch of humor. She left us with a good idea of where to go and what to see in more depth. We highly recommend this tour.
Intrigued by her historical knowledge
Sarah_D, Sep 2023
Heidi’s personal stories and relationships to many locals in Salzburg was endearing and made us feel as if we were her personal guests.
Awesome time
Scott_P, Jul 2023
This city is magical and so was our tour. She did an amazing job. We had a blast!! Made the city come alive:)
Superb
Stacey_P, Jul 2023
Our tour guide, Heidi, was superb. The 2 hour length was adequate for covering city highlights and then left time for independent exploration. Exceptional experience!
2 hours walking tour
Erinjit_T, Jun 2023
We started from Mirabell gardens. Our guide was very knowledgeable, he started by asking us what we were interested to see and hear about. We had kids in our group and he made sure to include them. He went beyond the allotted time and did half an hour extra. We appreciated his passion about Salzburg!
Nice Walking Tour
Stacey_P, Jun 2023
We had a 4 hour tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable about aspects of the city and Sound of Music. Too much about Sound of Music, however we were able to walk and learn the ins and outs of the city. It was a beautiful day. I think 2 hours would have been enough.
Salzburg in a half day
Laurie_D, Jun 2023
We had a great time with a very knowledgeable guide. Guide explained the history and architecture styles of the different buildings and churches of Salzburg. I would recommend this tour.
The Best Day in Salzburg!
Jennifer_K, May 2023
Maroine is the best! He really made sure that we were able to see everything we wanted. He even went into an in depth history of our hotel as well! We went at a very comfortable pace and did not feel rushed at all. He was so patient with us and took the time to answer our questions. We were beyond impressed with his knowledge of history and architecture! If we didn’t do this tour we would have missed out on so much. We are very grateful Maroine was our guide! He was so attentive and really made sure that we were interested in everything that we were seeing. Thank you again Maroine! You really made our first day in Salzburg the most memorable!
A Tour Guide Who Shares His Love For His City
Stephanie_C, Dec 2022
Andreas was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his beautiful city. He led us all over the city and gave us lots of insight into Salzburg that helped our family appreciate the city in a deeper way. I like tours that give me the cultural and historical background that make a place distinctive from all others, and he was able to share that with us.
Excellent!
tom_m, Dec 2022
The tour with Heidi was excellent! We went around all of Salzburg and learnt a lot about the history and culture. We had our baby in a pram the whole time with us and it was great for everyone.
Dissapointment
AGUSTIN_Q, Nov 2022
The guide was nice but the tour was slow, without any content, no interest in the explanations, no historical references, just some comments you van find in a brief guide book. The experience costs almost 30€ per person. Too much for almost nothing.
Perfect overview of Salzburg
Rebecca_M, Nov 2022
Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 hour tour with him. It hit all of the highlights with some fascinating trivia and interesting stories woven throughout. Exactly what we hoped for - thank you!
Wonderful guide in a great city.
Matthew_C, Aug 2022
Really exceptional tour. Our guide Maroine was filled with knowledge about Salzburg and a real expert on music / music history. He was very flexible with our plans - making detours at our request a couple of times. We covered everything in the old city and the new city. And, Maroine was great at taking photos of us. We had a great morning and we are so glad we such a knowledgeable and kind guide. He is also an artist - and took us to a shop where they had his book and postcards. We had him sign them for us. We have visited many countries and been lucky to have many great guides - Maroine is one we can endorse without hesitation. Book this tour if you want a great experience.
