Alcatraz: It’s a short walk through Fisherman’s Wharf to Alcatraz Landing where you’ll board the ferry across San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island, aka ‘The Rock.’ Snap photos as you pass by the San Francisco skyline and Golden Gate Bridge. Step out at Alcatraz, a former maximum-security penitentiary, now a National Park Service site, and tour the cell block on a self-guided audio tour that provides a captivating overview of the prison that once held America’s most notorious criminals, including Al ‘Scarface’ Capone. Your tour ends with your ferry ride back to Alcatraz Landing.

Madame Tussauds vouchers are untimed and are valid for up to two weeks from selected visit date.

Madame Tussauds experience is approximately 1 hour.
Alcatraz tickets are for the time and date selected and may not be changed. Alcatraz tours leave from Pier 33. You must arrive at Pier 33 at least 15 minutes prior to your boarding time.
For security purposes, a government issued photo ID is required for all guests to board the Alcatraz ferry.
All traveler names must be submitted at the time of booking.
Alcatraz audio tour is available in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Mandarin, Portuguese and Korean.
You may leave Alcatraz Island at any time; ferries depart every 30 to 40 minutes.
Madame Tussauds is open 11 am - 6 pm Thursday through Monday, closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
This tour/activity will have a maximum of 10 travelers

Definitely do this tour

We loved our tour of Alcatraz. We spent a lot of time there. Our time to get on the boat was 1 PM but we were able to get on earlier. I think we were there around 11:30 and they let us on the boat then. Make sure to go to the ticket booth and use your vouchers from, this app to get your actual tickets and bring your drivers license with you. We did not end up going to the wax museum. We spent a lot of time on the island of Alcatraz, and we retired and just wanted to go back to our hotel and have a meal. We would highly recommend this Alcatraz tour. It was a lot of fun and very informative.

I dont recommend this package.we did not able to.hop.on the cruise as scheduled because we are not on the list ,they advice as to contact the 3rd party but nobody answered.it is not a coincidence because we are 8 person disappointed on this package with same issue ,better directly get ticket from alcatraz website..its like we are scammed.

My husband had never been to Alcatraz so we we’re excited to tour the facility. The self guided audio tour was great. The only issue we had as senior citizens was the walk up to the cell block. After several rest breaks we made it and enjoyed the tour.

If you missed getting your Alcatraz tickets early on and they are no tickets available on the official website this is the cheapest combo ticket you will find. Alcatraz is a must see in San Francisco. Madame Tussauds on the other hand is ok. In my opinion, it kind of lost its spirit with all the additional venues next to the oroginal in London.

Enjoyed Madam Tussauds although keep in mind it is much smaller that the one in New York City. You need about 1 hour to go through it if you plan on taking pics and reading the bios. Alcatraz was a must see!! Skip the San Francisco Dungeon. Very cheesy!!! The ride is ridiculous!!! I would not waste your time or money on the San Francisco Dungeon!I should have done more research before buying this pass.

My 18yr old had been wanting to do Alcatraz for years (every time we were ever in California).... finally set aside the time on this years vacation for the excursion... we went with our 3 teenagers and everyone had a blast. The dungeon was a lot of fun and Madame Tussauds is always great.

We planned a trip to San Francisco on relatively short notice and the tickets for direct booking to Alcatraz were sold out. This ticket was well worth it - we got the time slot that worked best for us and then did madame tossauds and the dungeon. The dungeon was a pleasant surprise and I wouldn’t have done it had I not gotten this package - I’m so glad we got this.
