Tour departs from hotels in San Jose. You must indicate the hotel’s name in order to confirm the booking. Please confirm the pick up time at least 24 hours before the tour by contacting us.

Loved the animals and scenery at the waterfall, lunch was delicious! Coffee tour was so informative. Everyone was very helpful. Only downside was being told it ended at a certain time and hot dropped off almost 3 hours later making us miss leaving to our next destination and having to book another night at our current hotel.

Our tour guide Victor was amazing and the driver Julio was great, I’ve been to Costa Rica tours many times and Julio has been the best driver so far!

Great experience... beautiful and informative. Breakfast and lunch served, delicious. Coffee plantation was interesting, volcano was a short, fun hike but weather was bad and didn't get too see the crater, waterfalls/animals was amazing - not too crowded.

The guide was kind and shared interesting stories, the driver was also responsible and did a good job.
Our main concern was the structure of the tour: the main highlight was supposed to be Poas Volcano, but this is the place where we spent the least amount of time. Moreover, we went there in the late morning, where the weather notoriously turns worse, and as a result we could not see anything. Instead, we spent the first (very sunny) hours of the tour in the Doka hacienda. I suggest adapting the schedule of the tour to the weather conditions when appropriate, as Poas is the main attraction tourists are there for. Instead, less time could be spent in "commercial" venues.

Doka Coffee Farm was beautiful and relaxing. Walking to Poas Volcano felt great. The air was cool and fresh. We were lucky to have a clear view of the Volcano. La Paz Waterfall Gardens was touristy but beautiful too. The trek to the waterfalls was fun and a little challenging. The waterfall was just awesome. The animals are being cared for very professionally. Our tour guide was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and passionate about creating a wonderful experience for our group. I highly recommend this tour for some nature close to San Jose.

Erik was an excellent tour guide. It was a fun-filled and jam packed experience. Even when the weather was quite foggy, We were able to see the Poas Volcano and enjoyed every bit of the hike. The coffee tour was great too. We learnt a lot about different types of coffees and what was the coffee picking process. The breakfast and lunch was fantastic so was the tour of the La Paz gardens and the waterfall.
