    This tour was excellent - worth every single penny and I’d highly recommend it to anyone! The tour guide is great, the driver did a great job getting us everywhere that we needed to go and on time, all three excursions were absolutely magnificent, and both meals were delicious!

    Herman was an amazing guide. Spoke perfect English. We had a fabulous time. Every activity was well planned and we weren’t rushed but didn’t waste any time. I highly recommend it! Gorgeous and educational tour.

    The tour guide, Mario, went out of his way to help me having to use a mobility scooter. Being near a active volcano and having to wear a hardhat is case of falling debris.

    Experience a active volcano, exploring the coffee & learning the complete process from farm to table was very educational. The Peace Falls tour was breathtaking. Be sure to request Mario. He was fun, knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The meals provided were tasty. Book the trip now!!
    Waisted day taking a tour that was closed

    Try ing to get a refund cause the volcano was closed and waisted a whole day of my vacation and money. Come to fins out they had closed the tour the day before due to eruptions and seismic activity and they still took my money and waisted my day knowing it would be closed

    Our guide Mario was fantastic. He had lots of information for us and spoke both Spanish and English for all the guests to understand. He was prompt and helpful with everything. The whole was excellent.
    Not worth the money! Didn't see volcano + very rushed at waterfall & animal sanctuary

    Horrible at communication and such a disappointing trip!! I asked a week in advance for a pick-up time and they responded the day before saying it would be 6:20 am...but didn't show up until 6:50. The only good thing was the van was new and airconditioned, but we didn't get to see the volcano because it was too cloudy. It was FREEZING at the volcano and I wanted to purchase a jacket before the volcano safety video and our guide rudely came and got me and said there was no time. We rushed to the top and there was nothing to see anyway, just mist!! We wasted so much time at the volcano gift shop. Once we got to the animal sanctuary and waterfalls, we were rushed through the animal area and spent hardly any time at the waterfalls only to be shuffled to the gift shop and spend 15 getting sold to! The food was decent, buffet food, but again very rushed and left scarfing our food down. The whole trip was so disappointing and was a waste of money. You would be better off renting a car and going to the wildlife sanctuary/waterfalls yourself and skipping the volcano.

    We enjoyed this tour. We were lucky to see the active Poas volcano. It was clear! The coffee plantation was fine. Breakfast was just so so. The Lapaz garden was beautiful. The falls were amazing! We enjoyed the lunch as well. Our guide was very nice and took care of everyone.

    We had a fantastic day with our guide Filander! Our group of 11 (5 adults and 6 kids) ages 7-69 all had a blast and listed one of the stops as one of our favorite experiences of our week in Costa Rica. The coffee plantation breakfast was wonderful and learning about the process of growing, harvesting and preparing coffee was an eye-opener. Our guide thought the line to get into Poas would be long on the weekend so encouraged us to spend less time at the plantation so we wouldn't miss the volcano, and we are so glad he did! Standing at the edge of an active volcano was one of the most memorable experiences and his patience in the entrance line was to be admired! We stopped at a local strawberry stand before spending the rest of the afternoon at La Paz enjoying lunch, the animals and the waterfalls! Would absolutely recommend this trip to anyone!

    I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The crater, the waterfalls, the garden itself, the food for both breakfast and my lunch (and I am a vegan) was amazing. The coffee place was nice,I learned about the process, tasted the coffee and chocolate there. And of course, the guide Mario was great - interesting, entertaining, friendly, knowledgeable. Thanks for the tour, great memories!

    The three places visited were lovely. Doka is a bit commercial for my taste and I would have loved to see more of the fields and action. La Paz is a very well maintained destination; I enjoyed it. Mario, the driver/guide was great and did his best to keep the group entertained and on track. The coordination leading up to the tour was poor though, culminating with an attempt to change the pick-up place and time at a very late notice the night before the tour, making me anxious about whether I'd get picked up or not. In the end it was ok, but I didn't feel very confident about it until I got on the tour bus.

    The waterfall park was most scenic and well set up. Could have spent more time here to learn more and savour the Beaty but had to keep moving with the group. Meals were good but bothered somewhat by the time wasted in gift shops at each venue and at another stop along the way

    Not worth for the money, too rushed. Doka was not worth it, I did a coffee tour in Monteverde - huge difference. And gift shop at the end was not needed. Driver was way too friendly, started to question if I am married, inappropriate!

    Booked this adventure at the last minute and I am so glad I did. Mario, our driver and escort was kind, funny, entertaining, and knowledgeable. The coffee farm was so interesting. I bought so many souvenirs. 😀 The breakfast and lunch was perfect!! They did not skimp on the food at all. Loved the garden and the waterfall. Another great experience. If you get the opportunity to go, don't think...just do it! You will very pleased.

    Our driver and tour guide were wonderful, they found the right balance of sharing information, letting us take in the views and providing local culture and insights. I was traveling solo and in town for work and candidly was a little worried about not being able to speak Spanish and if I would have fun - I was so glad I picked this trip! I had a great time and the English/Spanish mix was perfect, our group was mixed in language and we all understood and English was used throughout. The agenda was well balanced between enjoying nature, learning, eating and getting some exercise. I would recommend it to everyone.

    This trip made our entire Costa Rica experience SO memorable! We loved all 3 of the destinations that we stopped at and our tour guide Mario was the absolute best! He was so fun and informative and really made our time unforgettable! Highly recommend this to anyone visiting San Jose!😍

    Near perfect day. Cafe Doka was beautiful and an interesting tour. The waterfalls were glorious. The animals at La Paz were very active. The food at La Paz was excellent. Our tour guide and bus driver were personable and a wealth of information. The only downfall was that we couldn’t see the crater at the volcano because it was cloudy and rainy. No one had control over that, though, so it was a minor disappointment. Le Marbella puts together a great tour that is definitely worth the money.

    Excellent guide. We were in a mixed group of 8 people, 5 fluent Spanish speakers and 3 of us not. Would have been 5 stars but we missed too much of what was said in Spanish.
