Bought this experience the night before. Our host Rah was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained every detail got us to the locations safely and the food was a plus. Everyone on our experience enjoyed it. I would recommend it to all who are interested in visiting El Yunque.

The experience overall was great! The rainforest was very pretty and one of the tour guides was excellent, we really enjoyed being with the larger group and seeing everyone having so much fun with the waterfalls and hiking, would highly recommend doing it!
Where our experience kind of suffered was our tour guide, his name started with an A- don’t totally remember. We were the only ones on his transport van and there were quite a few topics he brought up in conversation that we personally felt could be interpreted as offensive- racial profiling of other guests who “just looked” like they wouldn’t tip. Bringing up political topics of black people who have high positions in U.S Politics and whether or not he thought the were legitimate U.S citizens based on incomplete information and other uncouth remarks about dark skinned folks. Additionally he kept on bringing up tips to everyone involved and was pretty much all he talked about while referring to the other people in our group and how he was so sick of people like them “stiffing” him after promising money. While we did tip as we would have anyway he definitely earned less that he could have from us if he had approached tipping in general in a more professional manner. Please provide this tour guide some more training around hospitality and proper client service as this did impact our experience in a pretty negative way.

Not from area we had to depend on taxi driver. Got us lost and stuck in traffic. We tried to can within time-frame as noted and was denied, but offer a voucher to use within 6 months. We are not traveling vack anytime soon buy We were charged for entire thing and didn't attend. At the very least the could have gave at least half our money back. They didn't honor there own policy and prey on visitors.

I would say the hiking part was good, but the water slide experience was bad. My tour guy didn’t really prepare us for what was coming, in terms of safety. I didn’t have a life vest, didn’t know I needed it. And I almost drowned. And the tour guy wasn’t even paying attention to my needs. He wasn’t very attentive. It sucks, you pay money for an experience, but you’re not really made aware of what is coming. Not what I expected.

Everything was amazing. Best excursion. The waterfall was beautiful and the slides were so much fun. The food at the beach was authentic spanish food and it was delicious.

Hector was great! Super friendly, but not overly chatty. Because of all the rain, the water levels were high and the slide was a bit too rough for me and my 10yr old daughter. But my husband did it and said it was fun. Hector didn’t pressure us and moved at a pace that was good for all. The rainforest was beautiful. There’s some rock scrambling and it was muddy from all the rain in the previous days, so just be prepared for some physical activity. Definitely made some great memories this day even without going down the slide. The spot gets busy with other tours but ours was a bit earlier so timing worked out well. Thanks Hector!!!
