Exactly what I hoped for

Astri was wonderful and made our day in Santorini memorable. He was waiting for me as we arrived from the cable cars and transported our group in a very nice Mercedes Sprinter. The day was exactly what I wanted. Astri took us to the best view points for photos and took our photos. He’s incredibly knowledgeable of the local culture/history and his lunch recommendation was fantastic. With limited time in Santorini, I was able to enjoy the day seeing so many beautiful views that without Astri, would otherwise not have been possible if we had attempted to navigate on our own. I highly recommend!

Astri is exactly what you want from a guide when you're visiting Santorini for the first time or for the millionth time. He is punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, patient, savvy, efficient, approachable, flexible, smart, funny, and just plain cool. He collaboratively worked with every member of our family to make sure we saw what we wanted to see exactly when we wanted to see it. I cannot emphasize and reiterate enough how awesome Astri is. We liked him so much that we reserved him for an additional day to visit locations we didn't get to fit it on our booked day. Thankfully, Astri was available for and flexible with our plans for the additional day. His pricing for any additional asks was also completely fair and reasonable. And, most importantly for those visiting Santorini to get some memorable photos taken --> Astri takes some of the best photos I've ever seen. Awesome angles, slick effects, and well-timed/well-positioned snaps at every spot we visited on our itinerary. I would put Astri's photography skills against professional photographers any day. Additional notes: Clean, accessible, and modern vehicle with good wifi and plenty of water. You should definitely book a tour of Santorini with Astri. It will absolutely be worth every penny.

Santorini private tour

Astri was a wonderful driver/tour guide. Due to rough seas we were unable to disembark to our tender causing us to to be 1 and 1/12 hour late to our meeting point. Astri kept in constant communication and patiently waited till we arrived. He was very flexible and adjusted the tour to pack in as much as he could in our limited time a shore. We appreciated this since all NCL excursions from the cruise ship was cancelled due to the delay but we were still able to see all the sites and beauty of Santorini!!

Excellent Tour!

This was our first Viator tour, and it will not be our last. Everything about the tour was fantastic. Our guide/driver was from AA Santorini Travel. He was very knowledgable and quickly figured out what we were interested in. We not only toured the island and learned about the history, but we had great conversations about the local economy, agriculture, and current building construction. We highly recommend AA Santorini Travel and Viator.

Perfect day in Santorini

Astri was a wonderful guide. He took us to all the best sights for shopping, dining and pictures. He’s very experienced, 26 years, and knew how to avoid the tourist crowds. We ended at day at a beautiful winery on the cliffs. It was quiet and relaxing overlooking the water.

This is the most incredible tour we experienced in all of my travels. Astri is incredibly knowledgeable, very kind and the best guide around! Our tour with Thomas was just about perfect. Actually, it really was perfect. He picked us up in a nice air conditioned van, and we learned everything he knows about beautiful Santorini. From fun trivia questions in the style of the tv show Cash Cab, to jokes about all things Greek, Thomas made our personalized tour unforgettable and fun. All destinations were completely up to us. So, we hit Firostefani, the Black Beach, the Red beach, Oia, Santo Winery, and a couple unique spots in between. He is a pretty good photographer too! Thank you, Thomas. Wonderful tour on Santorini

Astri was a wonderful guide. We had delays getting up the cable car and he waited patiently for us. The vehicle was clean and cool. He built a nice itinerary for us as had minimal knowledge of Santorini. Showed us all of the highlights, knew all of the best Picture spots. Even stopped and got us a plum sample from a local!!! Overall a great tour and the guide made it special. Highly recommend Astri!

We had a great afternoon. We saw so much of the island. The photos we took are simply beautiful- but best of all we learned so much about the local area from Astri. The highlight of the afternoon was stopping to eat figs growing on the side of the road. Astri knew exactly where the trees were still fruiting and where to find the sweetest figs. I would highly recommend an afternoon tour so Astri can take you to a great location to relax and watch the spectacular sunset. Loved our time on the tour!

Awesome - love our guide

So, we went on this trip with a bunch of little kids, older kids, and seniors in tow. Our guide was super patient, and totally rolled with the mix. We hopped off the cable cars, and there he was, already waiting—talk about being on the ball! The van we cruised around in was all new and comfy. And yes, they totally hooked us up with cold bottled water, which was a lifesaver in that heat, believe me. We told our guide we wanted to catch the sunset, and he totally shuffled things around to make it work. He took us to all these incredible spots for killer photos, places we'd never have found on our own. Seriously, everything they promised and then some. If I ever head back to Santorini, you bet I'm booking this tour again. Big thanks for showing us such an awesome time!

We had an amazing day with our tour guide Astri! He took us to all the main spots including Oia, the heart of Santorini, the black and red beach and many more. He was very knowledgeable about the island and knew all the best spots for pictures, it was like having a personal photographer! We were provided with water and the mini bus was very comfortable with air conditioning and wifi. This tour was a fantastic way to see the island in a day. We were cruise ship visitors so this was perfect for us, we visited all the main attractions and felt like we had seen the whole island. Thank you Astri for a fantastic day! I would highly recommend this trip to everyone.

Our guides had a great/comfortable van and provided waters. They took us to all of the most beautiful sites in Santorini. It was super crowded, but they knew the best routes to get us around. I loved Oia and the black sand beach (I wish we could have stayed longer at the beach, but we ran out of time as we had to get back to our cruise ship). The guides were so helpful and kind! We will use them again if we come back!
