An Amazing Historical Tour

Elvis, our guide, took extra time to give us amazing details on historical events of Sarajevo. He was friendly and eager to share not only past events but also gave us some insights into the many political struggles the country is still experiencing now. We appreciated the vast knowledge he had.

Haris was an excellent tour guide. Very personable. Given the complexity of the history he explained with such ease. His insight was amazing. The tour was very nicely paced and although a lot in it, it did not feel rushed. Haris shared many personal stories which I really enjoyed. Highly recommend.

We have just completed our 3 hour walking tour with our amazing host Adin. We thoroughly enjoyed his company, expertise and friendliness. We normally shy away from walking tours but in this city it is well worth it. The amount of history this place holds, that you can easily walk past is enormous. Adin took us for a coffee break with the others on our tour and it was such a wonderful experience, learning about himself and the others cultures and really brought us all together, we were able to share experiences and give tips on further travels! Not to mention trying Bosnian coffee for the first time :) Again, Adin was absolutely amazing and if you have him as your guide during the weekends, you will have an amazing experience. Great introduction to Sarajevo

We went on the Grand Walking Tour in the morning after our arrival in Sarajevo the previous afternoon, and it was a great way to find out about the layout, architecture and history of the city. We saw many of the main sights and could decide which to go back to later in our stay for a longer visit. Our guide, Adisa, was extremely knowledgable and helped us make some sense of the complex history of the city and the country. She willingly and patiently answered all our questions and chose to share some ways in which the 1990s war and siege of the city had affected her and her family members. The 3-hour tour had a short coffee break when I had my first Bosnian coffee! We were really grateful for this introduction to Sarajevo.

Disappointing tour lacking in information

Unfortunately the tour guide was very short on actual information. Spent more time talking about his own life rather than the city. When asked if he could give more details about the siege of Sarajevo said “he prefers to talk about the future, not the war”

Great “private” tour!

Faruq was great! I was the only person on the tour so I basically got a private guide. The got recommendations for the rest of my stay here and felt like I really learned a little bit of everything in the time we were together!

I highly recommend this 3 hours walking tour. We started at our hotel and got a young tour guide which showed us very interesting spots. He was very flexible when we asked for several breaks in a Cevapcici-eria, coffee shop, or drinking a beer. Weather was also perfect. Amazing city with different cultures very close together in short walking distances.

Unser Guide hat uns bei diesem Rundgang einmal durch die ganze Stadt geführt und viele spannende Geschichten erzählt. Die Tour dauerte sogar etwas länger als 3 Stunden, aber es wurde nie langweilig.
