      Our tour meets in Franklin Square in front of the center monument, 10-15 minutes before start time. Your guide will be wearing a bright orange polo shirt with our logo. If you are running late, give us a call. We will wait for late arrivals for 5 minutes before beginning.

    A tour for those that want the hidden/untold history of Savannah

    Absolutely incredible tour!!! Sargon is a wealth of knowledge about Savannahs history and was able to easily pivot depending on the question we had at the moment, which we had many. Sargon also delivers the information in a very fun and story like manner so it wasn't just dry and boring information, along with giving as much detail about historical events and places as you could want. Having read about and listened to some of the other tours/tour guides this is a must do tour if you want something interesting, entertaining, and different from the information that you could probably just read in the footnote of a history book! When we make it back to Savannah we'll definitely take this tour again!

    Is there a way to leave more stars?! This was such an amazing tour that excided my expectations. It was so refreshing to hear the sides of history that get overlooked and minimize in the name of status quo. Sargon was so insightful and knowledgeable of not just the stories but the whole of each person's life and the grater historical context. There is no greater experience than being shown Savannah by someone who genuinely loves learning and sharing history!

    Great tour! The tour guide clearly has a passion for history and loves to share the stories. We found ourselves listening to every word because of her enthusiasm and angle of the underrepresented party. We would gladly take another tour she offered!

    Our tour guide Sargon was so full of great information and stories. We spent 2 hours walking the city and hearing all the knowledge. We easily could have gone on longer with all that was going on

    This was a fantastic tour. Sargon was a wonderful guide and was so good at bringing the historical people and places to life. I learned so much history I didn't know about before. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Savannah!

    Sargon was super friendly and knowledgeable about Savannah. Despite the downpour, Sargon completed the tour and answered all the questions that we had. Great experience and would highly recommend it for anyone who is a interested to learn more about the lesson-known parts of the city’s history. Thank you Sargon!

    Sargon was an amazing tour guide. I love doing walking tours of cities, but to find one that really gives you a different view of that history is rare. Sargon did a wonderful job of weaving together the tales of the underrepresented that made Savannah what it is.

    The tour is informational, dynamic, applicable to the present, it should be required of all visiting Savannah. In cannot relay how fantastic the tour’s content is. If you get Sargon as you are guide it would be amazing; the way information is provided and applied to the contexts of the past and present leaves you with a thirst of knowledge. I strongly recommend to anyone who wishes to have a greater understanding of otherness.

    Sargon was the best tour guide we had ever had in Savannah...and I have done a *lot* of walking tours! They brought so much of Savannah's complex and rich past to life with insights, drawing connections across centuries, and highlighted the stories of the personalities that put Savannah on the map and made it such a vibrant and unique place in the Southeast. If you ever wanted something more meaningful experience than the retiree-friendly, gloss-over-the-Confederate-parts trolley tours, you will not regret having Sargon take you on a walk through history, particularly Black history and history of LGBT+ communities in Savannah. It will make Savannah that much more of a richer, colorful place to explore more and understand our American history a little bit better. Bravo to Sargon for their ability to keep us--a couple--and a busy family with young and old--both entertained simultaneously for over 90 minutes. This is the best tour we took for our entire long weekend in Savannah. Don't miss out!

    Loved hearing these stories that are not told often or enough. I love history and have taken many other tours in Savannah (city tours, house tours, boat tours, museum tours) and this was my favorite. Excellent tour!

    Sargon was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was completely sucked into their ability to share so much history with engaging storytelling. They were able to bring to life the many people who are responsible for making savannah what it is today. I highly recommend this tour and will be looking for any others that they do for the next time I return.

    Sargon was the ultimate tour guide. She was knowledgeable, answered all questions, was considerate and really enjoying her job! We learned a lot about the history of Savannah in much better detail than a bus tour we took a couple of years ago. Sargon walked at our pace and found benches for us (older folks). We could not have been happier!

    Our guide was spectacular! She was a seasoned guide who knew so many facts about the squares and sights. I even noticed other people who weren’t in the tour group craning their heads to listen in to her informative speeches. She was also easy to hear despite there being several loud motorists nearby. The subject material of this tour is unlike any of the other tours. Thank you for a great experience and sharing the history of underrepresented, untold heroes!
