This cooking class was definitely a highlight of our trip to Sorrento! The house, gardens and views are breathtaking. The staff and chef were so wonderful to us. The class was a lot of fun and informative. I’m excited to try making some of the food when I return home. I enjoyed the time spent with other travelers on this experience who made the evening fun, but I was disappointed in the actual cooking class which was very business like and awkward. I heard good things about this experience so I was willing to pay the money, but in the end I did not feel like it was a good value.

What a wonderful experience which resulted in a delicious meal and making fun memories. Chef Anna was host and excellent instructor to our party of four. She was thorough in her instructions, and she took the time to make sure we all understood the steps needed to make our dinner and dessert. With a view of Mt. Vesuvius, our evening of learning to prepare several Italian dishes and then dining on our own creations was an excellent treat all around. I would highly recommend!

WOW! Incredible class on a stunning property overlooking the Bay of Naples. The views were unbelievable as was the food. This class is MUCH better than any other you can find in Sorrento city center. We had the best time. Chef Anna and Claudia were wonderful and we wish we could have spent every evening of our trip here.

A fun afternoon preparing authentic Italian cuisine

We spent the afternoon rolling dough making pizza and ravioli. It was a lot of fun, we also prepared braciola and limoncello tiramisu. Chef Anna was very patient with us showing and helping us along the way.

The property of Palazzo Barone, where you have your cooking classes are very nice. Intimate, private and quiet. The instructors were so friendly, and patient. They helped you, and taught you along the way so that you understood the reason why you doing what you were doing. Sitting down for dinner after and enjoying what you have just made was a pleasure. I would highly recommend doing this class . Therr are many other cooking class in Sorrento, this one though is a higher quality! Go for it, you will not be disappointed!

I absolutely loved this cooking class! I’ve taken serveral cooking classes in the US and this was one of the best I’ve ever taken. The communication was fantastic! I’m traveling solo and I was hoping to be picked up somewhere closer to my hotel, so I don’t have to walk back at night by myself. They were incredibly accommodating and I really appreciated it. The Villa is beautiful and the view is amazing. There is a separate covered classroom that is enclosed with clear plastic panels for weather control. It sounds odd, but was incredibly wonderful. I felt like part of the Great British Bake Off tv show! Our session had eight students which was a wonderful small size. The chef did did say her next session was going to be 20 students, so I feel very lucky. The water, wine, Prosecco flow generously during the session. They were chairs set around the prep tables, so I was able to sit as needed. Anna, the chef leading our class, was friendly, personable, and easy to understand. She answered all her questions and showed us the techniques and tips. It was really a fun class and I learned so much. I can’t wait to go home and make ravioli and limoncello tiramisu! I am so very glad I took this class, it’s the best thing I’ve done in Italy!

Chez Barone Cooking School, the Anna’s and Fabio created an amazing experience. The location was incredibly beautiful and the property so special. The cooking was fun and relaxing, with some helpful hints to actually be able to make the meals at home. The food was delicious and finished with the adept hands of the fantastic chef to ensure everyone had a great meal. 10/10 experience, you’re missing out if you don’t try this when in Sorrento!

The Chez Barone Cooking Class is a must if you are in Ir near Sorrento. The property is breathtaking with Mount Vesuvius in the background. We were outside on a beautiful veranda with amazing chefs teaching us how to make pizza, ravioli, braciola, tiramisu and lemoncello. After making everything from scratch we dined on the fruits of our labor. Delicious!!! This an absolute must!!! Consider staying here too!

We had a phenomenal time. Hands on is right. We learnt proper ways to make pasta and pizza dough. Went through a great meat dish and sauce, finished with a nice desert. But best was the overall experience. The chef and assistant were lovely. And they let our group just get to know each other, have fun, and we had a brilliant four course meal at the end, with wine supplied. Was a great time overall. Have already recommended to friends visiting soon and will do so to others.

We enjoyed our time at the Chez Barone cooking school. It was a lot of fun. The driver turned up on time, the setting is beautiful and all the staff are lovely & personable. Our only issue was that the food we made was pooled together with that prepared by the rest of the class, cooked behind the scenes and then dished up. The chances of the food I prepared being the food I ate was practically nil, hence only 4 stars.

Excellent communication prior to the experience. Adapter pick up point for my husband and me in light of our accommodation. Pick up was smooth in a an air conditioned mini bus - though I did quite fancy the golf buggies others were arriving in. 😂 Lashings of Prosecco upon arrival at the most stunning villa I’ve ever seen. Panoramic views over the Coast of Sorrento surrounded by lemon trees - need I say any more? Had some time to mingle with the others booked in which was very lovely. The two chefs were knowledgeable and full of fun. We cooked up a storm with their guidance. We all sat down to eat together and had lots and lots of wine. We were then safely delivered back to our collection point. We left with the recipe book of our dishes and have recreated a few of them upon our return home. Highly recommend.
