Perfect Tour of Pompeii!

A guided tour was the best was to explore Pompeii and learn as much as possible in just one visit. Our guide, Max, was wonderful—very knowledgeable and kept it interesting.

Very well organized. Your chaperon met you in Sorrento and went on the mini bus with the group to Pompeii. Then, the actually guide met us there. Our guide, Max, was great. Very knowledgeable and funny. The headsets were good quality. Overall, we recommended this half day tour.

Tour guides Andrea and Gabriella were excellent. They were knowledgeable and great at supporting the enjoyment and well being of their tourists. Transportation and meeting places as described. I would suggest taking the earliest tour available as the crowds were starting to get larger near the end of our tour. Weather was a little cool and it started to rain just before we finished. Otherwise everything was excellent.

The size and scale of Pompeii was much more than expected. Andrea kept us organized and was very helpful. Our tour guide Max did a great job. Just expect the bus ride to Pompeii to take at least an hour thru heavy traffic and with winding roads. Not much can be done about that so be prepared.

A wonderful day with 2 fantastic guides. Miguel on the bus and Max at the Pompeii ruins. Both went beyond what they had to trying to make the tour a memorable one. Great guides that were very knowledgeable and humorous. Well worth it 👍👍👍👍

The archaeologist was excellent, bringing the life of Pompeii to us, from travelers to the city and how they were entertained to disposing of their effluent. Most intriguing Pompeii homes had sliding doors. So advanced.

The tour guides were amazing and very knowledgeable. The archeological site was fantastic and the skip the line was truly worth every penny. The bus transportation was not that great, the interior was a bit old, the air conditioning was on too high and all I could hear were the 4 American girls complaining the entire time how they were freezing. My son fell asleep and the bus tour operator yelled at us to hurry up and get off; I just needed 5 minutes to get on his rain gear… Overall a good experience as we got to see what we wanted although the weather could have been better…. It might been better if we could have found a tour that catered more to families with younger children.

A good and convenient half day trip from Sorrento and was able to skip the line. Our guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the history and function of the city. He showed us the key parts of Pompei in an efficient way and travel path. I wish the tour had more time though to see other parts. Another two more hours would have been great.

Good tour with this overall. The tour had many older people with serious physical limitations and went very slowly to accommodate for their needs, which was wonderful. If you are pretty physically active and want to see a lot this may not be the best tour for you.

This was a half day tour. Professional tour guide, however I did not realize we would not see some of the major sights such as the colosseum on the tour. Overall good but expected to see more.

Pompeii in and of itself is incredible. It was nice to have transport to the ruins…driving in the region is not recommended for the feint of heart! The tour company had us well organized and our guide was informative. It was extremely crowded so was glad we’d decided to tour with a professional tour company.
