A Memorable Tour To The Coast

The drive to Positano and Amalfi Coast from Sorrento was spectacular. The tour guide Michelin was very informative and engaging. The driver needs special mention for a very smooth and enjoyable drive throughout. Positano & Amalfi Coast was worth visiting.

Beautiful area, however, due to it being a holiday it was very crowded and the narrow streets were very congested making for a longer day than expected. Good tour guide and driver.

Tour guide Andrea and driver Gennaro were both excellent. We learned as we rode thru the winding rides with our very adept driver. And the views were breathtaking. Andrea has a wonderful sense of humor, which added to the experience.

Ride to the Amalfi Coast

This was basically a ride to the towns. which served the purpose well but our "guide" Anna spoke limited English and often we were puzzled about how long the stops were and would have liked some commentary along the way (we got zero). We had a great group in our small van which made it fun and of course the towns were incredible! Spent 1 hour in Positano, 2 hours in Amalfi and 1 hour in Revello.

One of the prettiest places in the world! This tour made it convenient to see all three towns and Thomas, our guide, was very informative. The mini bus was punctual and driver was safe and experienced / thank you for a wonderful day from our group of 15!

Taking a tour to visit the Amalfi Coast is the best option due to the tens of thousands of tourists doing the same, if you don't want to be held up by miles long queues at bus stops and ferries. And I went there during the low season, according to the tourist office ! Of course, using public transportation is much cheaper, but the lines might ruin your day by preventing you from going where you want !

This was a wonderful way to see the Amalfi coast and it was exactly what we were looking for. We considered a boat trip to the coast from Sorrento, but decided to experience the winding road along the coast and were glad we made that decision.Our driver was excellent and navigated the roads wonderfully, befitting his 22 years of experience. Our guide, Michelin, was a delight and so informative. The best part of the trip was that we got information about the region while on the road but when we got to each town, we were free to explore on our own. The amount of time at each place was just about right. This is a tour I would highly recommend for anyone wishing to experience the Amalfi coast in one day.

Read the fine print

Great tour but you have to read the fine print. When you book the tour you could either get a tour with up to 8 people and just a driver. Or 9-21 people and a guide also. So really there is no way to know which one you will get. Then someone writes a bad review and the company responds saying they should have read the fine print. For that reason I give it a 4 instead of 5 star review. I had the tour with the guide and they were great at telling us about everything, I wouldn't want to do the tour with just a driver.

The tour of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello was a great way of experiencing the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento without having to rent a car and drive the hair-raising roads or juggle multiple ferries. And Revello, which is beautiful, is not accessible by ferry because it’s inland and atop a hill. The driver, Mariano, was very personable and helpful.

Mariano was a wonderful driver and we go to to enjoy the scenery and our stops in Positano, Almafi, and Rovello. Rovellois very peaceful, especially after Posiatano and Almafi. The vendors in Almafi were most entertaining, especially where samples of sweets and drinks were generously handed out.

Our tour guide, Rafaela, was wonderful. He was timely in pickup’s. And so courteous. He was very knowledgeable about the Amalfi coast and extremely personable. We had a wonderful small group and shared a lovely lunch on a rooftop, overlooking the beautiful coast. Rafaela was a very safe driver. I was so impressed with his skills, as this is a very difficult task.
