What To Expect

Meet your guide in Sorrento where your experience begins. Head out to a traditional olive and lemon farm that has been family owned for four generations. Arrive at the farm and start a guided tour through different parts of the property, spending time among olive and lemon groves. Learn about winemaking, olive oil production, and honey harvesting from your hosts. Sample a variety of products made right on the farm, including limoncello.

Finish your experience with a lunch crafted primarily from organic ingredients grown right on the farm. End your meal with a tasty dessert before heading back to Sorrento.

This was easily the highlight of our trip. It was authentic and charming and the family are all so knowledgable and welcoming. The food is fantastic - so fresh and the homemade wine was even better! You will not find a better table with a view! Simply stunning.

La Masseria is by the most unique and high quality experience in Sorrento. A lovely family farm and home cooked meal. I can’t say enough about the tour, the meal, the host, the ambiance. Everything is homemade, delicious, and wonderful. Excellent value for the price. Truly a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. Buenisimo!!!!

What a pleasant surprise! Our boat trip was cancelled due to weather, so we found an alternative. This was such a fun adventure and a nice dinner with a couple of new friends. The family that owned the farm was so welcoming and the brother giving the tour was entertaining and so very nice and great in answering all of our questions.

From start to finish this was a fabulous family run tour. The two brothers along side there parents hosted a fun and very unique tour. Walking through there lemon farm and seeing it close up was very neat. After the tour we had a five plus course menu paired with home made wine. Strongly recommend this tour if your looking for something new and relaxing.

Wonderful visit to La Masseria, a guided tour around thru the lemon and olive orchards as well as seeing the goats and chickens with a full explanation of how nothing goes to waste. After the learning process, we got to have an oil tasting of plain, lemon and orange which made everyone wanting more! We then went in to the dining room for an excellent lunch of bruschetta, pasta with sauce, wine and dessert. We ended the event with a bit of oil shopping along w other products they offer.

The family run farm is a treasure to the nearby Sorrento village. Their farming skill, knowledge and passion for lemons, olives and sustainable production is amazing. The two sons who lead our tour were funny and very informative. The food and wine served to us was all farm fresh and their chef was creative. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this wonderful farm and unforgettable smell of their special lemons.

All 15 people in our group felt like family on this tour. Two brothers showed us around and explained all the workings of this family-run business. The mom was in charge of our delicious dinner and no pressure to buy their products (they sold themselves, they were so good).

Terrific experience. Fascinating view of well run, prolific and efficient mountain-side farm. Charming, funny family, describing their daily life and work in excellent English, followed by delicious samples of their produce and wine as a wonderful and filling lunch. Low-key chance to taste and if you like, buy their first-rate marmalades, olive oil and honey. Perfect day.

What a wonderful tour, one not to be missed! Eugene was a great tour guide and was extremely knowledgeable and quite humorous at times about the workings, and science behind his 4th generation family lemon and olive oil farm which is totally sustainable! The goats they raise were especially cute but the roosters also made known their presence too! At the end of the tour we taste tested several olive oils, a red table wine and lemoncello, all made on the farm. Eugene’s momma then treated us to a scrumptious lunch of bruschetta, antipasto, pasta, bread and dessert all homemade, of course, with ingredients from the farm!

This tour was a highlight during our time in Sorrento. From the bus ride to the family style lunch, 10/10. The family is so warm and endearing and clearly take such pride in their 4th generation self sustaining farm. We not only learned so much but the lunch was out of this world.
