Wonderful to see the iconic Sydney Opera House! Our guide (Emmy, I think!) was so kind and informative. We were afforded elevators, when possible - for we seniors! Gift shop has a lot to choose from and our fish & chips meal was delicious!

Our Sydney Opera House plus dinning experience was outstanding! Nick our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Nick was able to get the group into listen to the symphony practice (which was remarkable) and watch the ballet practice (which was beautiful). After the tour lunch at the Opera Bar was delicious and a perfect way to end our experience. We highly recommend this experience.

Our guide really thought himself as a funny guy. We didn’t agree. We wanted the basics and that’s what we got. The lunch tickets moved us off site to a crowded beach bar. Again, the basic minimum was promised and delivered. Next!

A worthwhile experience in a World Heritage site

Fascinating to see the architecture up close and to learn about the building process. Guide was very informative. We "lucked" out in that there was a rehearsal going on in the main venue. We were able to listen and watch the warmup for about 10 minutes. The group was quite large and our guide was a quick walker. Sometimes ,if we unfortunately got behind the slower members of our group, we did not have as long at the next stop to look and listen as when we were nearer the guide . Overall, a good tour and one we would recommend. We chose to purchase the additional meal component and enjoyed our food and beverage in the opera bar. As other reviewers have stated, you order from a more limited food and beverage list taken from the regular menu. The food was nice and on such a rainy day , we were glad to eat following our tour which wrapped up at 430,instead of having to go out in the downpour and try to find a dry,warm place to eat.

So looking forward to our tour of the Opera House and instead found it so underwhelming and disappointing. The audio was a very boring script that was delivered by French student whose English was marginal. Plus she was very young had only been in the country a few months and had no anecdotes to add to her narration. Further inside the opera house we never got to hear any audio to be able to appreciate the Acoustics l. It was a very ordinary tour that I will definitely not recommend to anyone. There was a little bit of history that was offered in a corner of one of the hall spaces where you had to sit on a rug......
