Transportation Info Self-Drive - Please arrive at the Estuary 5 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time - Tamarindo Estuary We include transportation from hotels, condos and private residences in the following locations: - Tamarindo and Langosta - Pick up starts 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. We will send an updated time the day before the tour. Additional Transportation provided from the following locations for an additional pick up fee. - Hacienda Pinilla/JW Marriott - Conchal (W/Westin Conchal), Brasilito - Playa Grande, Flamingo, Potrero - Las Catalinas - RIU Hotels - Playas del Coco - Playa Hermosa & Panama

Finally saw some monkeys! Knowledgeable, friendly guide
People on boats doing their tours at the same time would see us looking at something and then pull up and scare things away so that was a bit annoying but nothing our guide could do about that

Seeing the monkey, different birds etc in their native habitat was very cool. We also saw motor boat tours doing the same thing so if you aren't up for paddling that is an option too. We prefer this way and had a great experience. We did a similar tour in the Grand Cayman and wanted to kids to have this experience. My only feedback would be to give more details about the mangroves and how important they are for the environment in addition to some of the local wildlife stuff. I would recommend this tour.

Our guide Davies did a great job and was very knowledgable of the flora and fauna. We would have preferred single kayaks instead of double. But overall a nice excursion.

Equipment was dated, very poor seat for example. No instruction and little information was offered throughout the 2 hours. Simple things like a bag for our phone was not offered.
