You will be performing various skills on 5 different dives. Each dive is themed toward the advanced course. Out of the 5 dives you can chose the theme for 3 dives (we will give you a set of options and recommendations). Deep- and navigation dives are mandatory. After you complete all dives and the performance requirements you get certified as a SSI Adventure diver / PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.

During your training you will learn to recognize and understand the cause of diving accidents in addition to strengthening your own self rescue skills. In this physically challenging course you will learn how to manage diving accidents and work as a team to help those in need. The PADI Rescue diver course is a perfect compliment to your training so far making you a more competent and aware diver who thinks like a diver.

Getting your PADI Advanced Open Water Course certification in Costa Rica lets you take six dives in tropical waters off the Guanacaste coast, with opportunities to see tons of wildlife each time.
